I have to say, I don't quite agree with everyone here! I actually picked up some Quest Diagnostics, and honestly, I can't recommend the gel enough. It’s got aloe vera in it, and it really does provide that instant relief I was looking for. Another thing though—you can't exactly split the Quest Diagnostics doses up, so there's no way I could share a little bit with my wife. These capsules are meant to be taken on a regular schedule by one person, not passed around between two people.
If I had just listened to all your advice, Steven Hernandez14, I probably would've ended up in surgery already, even though maybe it isn't even necessary right now. I mean, any sane person wouldn't jump into an operation unless they absolutely had to.

How are we even supposed to post here if we actually want to get to the point?
Should we just start writing in Latin since apparently that's the only language everyone understands, thank God?
Every time I look for actual advice, all I find is people telling me I need to go straight under the knife. Honestly, it’s not even the first time I’ve heard how these private clinics operate. I wouldn't be surprised if one of those shady outfits was pulling the strings behind half these comments, feeding us private info on surgeons and whatnot. Look, I’m not saying I swallow every single ad I see, but I don't blindly trust your posts either. At this point, I don't trust anyone, so I'm just gonna have to rely on my own gut feeling. What I took away from Nevia's post is that we really need to look at the actual ingredients—compare them to what else is out there—because that's probably why one product works better than the rest.
I'm with you on the price; it's definitely not pocket change, but honestly, it's not too bad considering what you actually get. This stuff has a ton of ingredients, and based on what I gathered from the post, these are the kinds of things that actually have proven medicinal properties in traditional remedies.
Luckily, the doctors told me during my checkup that I don't need surgery right away, so with the advice I've picked up, I want to try something else to finally get rid of this damn thing!

I thought this thread was supposed to be for hemorrhoid advice, not just stupid ads and bickering! If Nevio is the doctor here, then I actually prefer that he doesn't use medical jargon... because honestly, who would understand him? That’s why forums exist, Steven Hernandez14, so we can all be on the same level and actually understand what’s being discussed. If you want a doctor to lecture you with technical terms, go to one of their medical conventions or book a private consultation and listen to them as much as you want. Me, and I think everyone else besides you, wants to hear plain English and simple explanations. Thank you, Dr. Nevio, for your helpful post... I think it was excellent. Steven Hernandez14, my blood pressure spiked not just reading your comment, but when I went back to look at your old posts. I saw you're someone who constantly promotes specific private clinics and surgeries... so don't you dare tell anyone else they're advertising when you're the one doing nothing but that. Also, Quest Diagnostics is used by half my company, and the product is decent and affordable... especially if it keeps my symptoms from coming back. You, Steven Hernandez14, seem to want everyone to just jump straight onto the operating table. Don't bother replying to me anymore, because you're "busted." Third, please tell me... what other products actually work besides Quest Diagnostics??? I've tried Himalayan, then Pilex, then changed my diet, cut out alcohol, tried this and that... So, if you want the truth... hemorrhoids aren't treated once they flare up, you have to prevent them in the first place.

They give us all a level playing field where we can actually follow the conversation. If you want a doctor to lecture you with complex terminology, go attend a medical convention or book a private consultation and listen to them as much as you want. Most people here, myself included, just want plain English and clear explanations. Thank you, Dr. Nevio, for your helpful post; I think it was excellent. Honestly, Steven Hernandez14, my blood pressure spiked not just reading your post, but when I went back to look at your history. You seem to be constantly promoting private clinics and surgeries, so please don't lecture anyone else about advertising when that is literally all you do. Secondly, Quest Diagnostics uses half of my company's supplies, and their product works fine—it doesn't break the bank, and it keeps my symptoms at bay. You, Steven Hernandez14, seem to think everyone should just jump straight onto an operating table. Don't bother coming at me again; you're busted. Third, does anyone actually have a recommendation for something that works besides Quest Diagnostics? Seriously. I've tried Himalayan, I've tried Pilex, I've changed my diet, cut out alcohol, tried this and that... I'll give it to you straight: you don't treat hemorrhoids once they flare up. You have to prevent them from happening in the first place.

They treat the symptoms after the problem arises, even though the root cause is often a mystery. And you don't necessarily need surgery once they show up if they are caught in the early stages.

crimsongull20, seriously, what you're doing is low-key shady as hell. Pushing people and lying to them during this massive spike in private healthcare costs? It’s dirty.
How many DMs or emails do you even get a day asking, "Hey, can you recommend a good specialist?"
It’s honestly pathetic how you operate. I bet the answer is always the exact same—always pointing everyone toward the same clinic.

I got curious about who was pulling the strings here, so I did a little digging into how you work.
I noticed that almost every single one of your posts targets someone looking for medical advice because they're dealing with some health issue. You swoop in, suggest they see a "top-tier specialist," and then I bet they hit you up privately to find out who that guy is, only for you to funnel them straight into that same private clinic. For just one profile, you've had an insane amount of "issues" to solve.
People aren't stupid.

They haven't been stupid since every single checkup started costing a fortune.
crimsongull20 and Steven Hernandez14—it's funny how you two always end up on the same topics using the same playbook: "DM me for details."
crimsongull20, you better hope people don't start digging through your old posts.

crimsongull20 said:Just wanted to drop a quick update—it’s been exactly a month since my NASA surgery and honestly? The results are killer. I'm feeling great. The pain is totally gone.👍

But honestly, the thing that totally blew my mind was how that constant bloating in my upper stomach just... vanished. Like, poof. Gone. I’ve been dealing with that annoying pressure for years and I was positive it was just bad digestion or like, some enzyme deficiency or whatever. I never, ever would have guessed that the culprit was actually massive internal hemorrhoids. Turns out they were basically blocking everything up and preventing me from actually, uh, fully clearing out when I hit the bathroom. Who knew? 😁Man, my waistline literally shrank by like 3 inches overnight without me losing a single pound on the scale. It’s wild. I can actually bend over now without feeling all weird and uncomfortable, plus I can finally sleep on my stomach again like a normal person. Just wanted to throw this out there because maybe someone here is dealing with something similar and hasn't even considered that internal hemorrhoids could be the culprit behind it all. Just some food for thought.

Anyone curious about who's actually running the show? I'm more than happy to drop some intel if you want it. Just let me know. 🙂

Forget all that back-and-forth about the ads for a second... honestly, I’m dealing with some weird bloating in my upper stomach myself, plus these tiny external hemorrhoids have popped up. I've been using some over-the-counter stuff to help, but it’s not really doing the trick. Might even be related symptoms, who knows? Anyway, I'm heading to see my doctor tomorrow to get it checked out and see what's actually going on.

That’s exactly why forums exist—so we can all be on the same level and actually understand the conversation. If you want some specialist lecturing you with fancy terminology, go sit in on a medical convention or book a private consultation and listen to him drone on to your heart's content. Me, and I’m pretty sure everyone else except you, just wants plain English and clear explanations. Huge thanks to Dr. Nevio for his post; personally, I think it was spot on. Honestly, Steven Hernandez14, my blood pressure spiked not just from reading your comment, but from digging through your post history. It turns out you're basically a walking billboard for private clinics and surgeries, so don't you dare come at me accusing others of advertising when that is literally your entire persona. There aren't any advertisements here, just me sharing my experience with the doctor I saw! These are my actual experiences...
If you browse through this forum, you'll see plenty of people having great results with the doctor I visited, which is exactly why I decided to go see him myself after reading about him...
Furthermore, I'm not saying everyone needs surgery immediately, nor am I telling people to rush to a private clinic. It's just that people on here often don't know where to turn or what products to trust... so I'm just sharing what worked for me. If it helps someone, thank God...
And for the record, the doctor didn't push me toward surgery, nor did he even suggest it. He simply explained the procedure so that if things got worse down the road, I would know exactly what to expect...
It seems like we need to change how we communicate here if we want people to feel comfortable sharing their own stories...
In fact, I'm even thinking about trying that Quest Diagnostics stuff myself...
I apologize to the doctor if everything being said about my intentions is true...
Maybe a little drama is necessary to actually get people to start posting their real-life experiences...

It’s dirty business. I bet the answer is always the same... always the same clinic.

I got curious about who was lying to whom, so I looked at how you operate.
I noticed almost every one of your posts responds to someone seeking advice for a health issue. Your posts suggest they reach out to a good specialist. I bet after that, the person contacts you privately to find out who that specialist is, and then you send them to a private clinic—the same one every time. For one profile, you’ve had an incredible number of "problems."
People aren't stupid.

They haven't been stupid since every single one of these checkups became overpriced.
crimsongull20 and Steven Hernandez14... interesting how you both always end up on the same topics using the same tactic: ”DM me.”
crimsongull20, you'd better hope people don't dig through your old posts.

If you actually bothered to dig through my posts, you'd see I never recommend just one specific specialist. And if I do, it's because, unfortunately, I've dealt with an excessive amount of health issues over the last six years following major pelvic trauma. I was practically disabled for two years, searching intensely for help within the healthcare system, but despite all the effort, I couldn't find anything there. I'm prepping for six surgeries, if you're really that interested.

In case you weren't aware, plenty of others are in the same boat. After being "left hanging" by the system, they're forced to seek paid help, and when that happens, you need to know what's worth the money and what isn't. I've wasted huge amounts of cash doing that. Otherwise, I have never recommended a place unless I've personally had surgery there with good results, and even then, I always include a disclaimer to do your own research and not take my word for it blindly.

Besides, you could have just DM'ed me to test the waters and ask for advice, then you could have seen how I actually talk. You didn't do that, so you're just talking out of turn. As far as I'm concerned, the offer still stands. ☕

Every time I look for advice, all I find is how I need to go straight into surgery. It’s not the first time I’ve heard how private clinics operate. Honestly, it feels like one of those places is behind these comments, feeding us info about specific surgeons privately and all that. I’m not saying I buy every ad, but I don't trust these posts either. I don't trust anyone at this point... I can only rely on my own gut. What I took away from Nevio's post is that we should pay attention to the ingredients and compare them to others to see why one might be more effective.
I agree it’s not cheap, but it’s not a massive amount considering what you get. This product has a lot of components, and from what I gathered, they are ingredients proven to work in traditional remedies.
Luckily, my checkup showed I don't need surgery immediately, so with the advice I've received, I want to try something else to get rid of this problem once and for all.

It’s not about needing to speak Latin, but having a basic grasp of American grammar—the kind you get from a standard high school education—would be enough. Dr. Nevio didn't exactly demonstrate that in his questionable post about Quest Diagnostics (I could list the errors, but most people here wouldn't care), and he relied heavily on typical advertising jargon. It reminds me of that "dentist" in the Sensodyne commercial who was awkwardly reciting a script someone else wrote for him. Nevio's post felt exactly like that ad.

A doctor simplifying their language so a patient understands is a completely different issue than this whole Quest Diagnostics thing.

Anyway, you definitely don't have to go under the knife right away (for instance, I waited twenty years), and trusting your intuition is usually best. No one knows your body better than you do... and if you make the wrong call, it's better that it was your own choice rather than being swayed by someone else.

I think Dr. Nevio hit the nail on the head when he emphasized how much we really need to pay attention to what's actually inside the stuff we buy today.
We get bombarded constantly by commercials pushing products packed with questionable chemical cocktails, and honestly, I don't think that's always great for our health.
How many times have we seen those "synthetic" products in TV ads totally overshadowing natural alternatives that might actually be superior? You know, things that work better and are undeniably better for our bodies. It’s not even rare to see doctors prescribing all sorts of antibiotics that probably do more harm than good, mostly because half the time they don't even know what's wrong with us to begin with.
Whether it's an ad or not, those "pharmaceutical experts" on TV are basically poisoning us even more.
If, for example, Quest Diagnostics has plenty of great ingredients that are actually good for us, why on earth aren't they showing that to people?
If it wasn't for that post, I never would have gone digging through the ingredient lists for hemorrhoid treatments.
So, I went ahead and ordered some Quest Diagnostics because it actually looked decent, and the price isn't bad either. We'll see how it goes. Of course, sticking to a regulated diet is priority number one, at least until all this junk is cleared out.

Sure, you can tell customers what's in a product, but then you're just running an ad. Ads aren't allowed everywhere, and they certainly aren't free. That’s why it's banned here...

I wouldn't even call that an ad; it’s more like some unsolicited, good-natured advice. An actual advertisement is when someone starts listing every single ingredient in a product to sell you on it. This was just someone saying, "Hey, maybe pay attention to what you're actually drinking."
Sure, he mentioned a specific brand, but he just used it as a solid example. That doesn't mean it's the only decent option out there.
crimsongull20, I honestly have no clue who anyone is "promoting" here. If people actually started digging through your post history, they'd probably conclude that you're the one constantly pushing products and private clinics.
That whole setup you have—where you're basically telling people, "just shoot me an email or a DM"—is nothing more than a shady way to funnel people into expensive private checkups at the exact same clinic.
So, seriously, don't make me start digging up your old posts and connecting the dots for everyone.

Hi, I’m dealing with hemorrhoids that seem to flare up once or twice a year. Each episode lasts about a month to six weeks before they finally settle down. They aren't severe enough to require surgery, but they swell up and bleed constantly while they're active. The bleeding is honestly the most frustrating part. I’ve tried just about everything, but nothing seems to offer a permanent fix. Any remedy I try works okay the first time, but by the next flare-up, I'm back to square one. Does anyone know of something that actually stops the bleeding faster?

Hey, good evening.

So, basically, two days after my last bathroom trip, I felt this weird, slight discomfort when I sat down at my computer. But honestly, I've had stuff like that before whenever my digestion is being stubborn, so I didn't really think much of it. But today... well, while wiping, I actually felt a little lump. I checked it in the mirror, and it’s just this skin-colored bump right on the edge of the anus.

My first thought was maybe hemorrhoids? But I'm kind of stressing out because I'm only 16, plus it doesn't even hurt or bleed, which just makes me more confused, I guess.

Does anyone have any clue what this might be? I'd seriously love to avoid having to talk to my parents or go to a doctor about this unless it's absolutely necessary. Maybe I should just wait a few days and hope it just goes away on its own? 😢

He mentioned a product, sure. Just as one decent example, not as the only option out there.
crimsongull20, I have no idea who's promoting what here. If people start digging through your posts, they’ll think you're the one pushing products and private clinics.
That system you have—"email me or DM me"—is basically just a subtle nudge toward expensive private appointments at the same clinic.
So, don't make me start quoting your old posts so people can connect the dots.

Feel free to copy if you want. Since we're on the subject, let me be clear: based on my own experience, there isn't a single private clinic in America I'd recommend to anyone, and I won't recommend anything based on someone else's experience either.

Just to be clear: my experiences with private clinics here range from slightly positive to downright terrible. It feels like a waste of money. Most of the people working privately are the same crew from the public hospitals. If they couldn't nail a diagnosis in a hospital, they aren't going to find it in their private practice, even if they are a little nicer to you and you don't have to wait as long.

That's just my general impression after years of seeing specialists, both through the system and privately... which is why I decided to pay for this specific procedure elsewhere.
In fact, the only two doctors I actually trust work exclusively within the public system.

Of course, plenty of patients will have different stories, but they can tell them. I don't deal in other people's anecdotes or interests. What I do for a living and what I studied in med school has absolutely nothing to do with this.

And you didn't even DM me, so you're just talking out of turn.

Or are you Dr. Nevio? 😁 😉

You can definitely get hemorrhoids at 16.
What you're describing sounds like an external hemorrhoid, and it'll likely resolve itself, but a proctology exam is the only way to be certain. Just talk to your doctor; there's no reason to be embarrassed. More than half the population deals with this, and honestly, your little lump probably isn't much different from millions of others. 😉

If you aren't ready for a doctor yet, try switching to yogurt, veggies, and fruit (not bananas) for a few days and see how it develops... 🙂

There’s really not much point in even arguing about this.
It’s such an obvious, transparent advertisement!
Between Nevio, Alexander Hernandez7, and all these other characters out here acting like they’re big fans—most of them just joined the forum recently and have maybe a handful of posts to their name—it’s clear as day... they’re actually just the same person trying to push Quest Diagnostics for free.
Been there, done that, seen it all before!

Look, Michael Cook4, if my new username is bugging you, my bad. I don't live on this forum 24/7 just like you don't. I signed up specifically to find a fix for my own issue. It’s not my fault I jumped straight into a thread where a specific product was being discussed. I'm just trying to figure out how to help myself since my doctor didn't tell me I needed surgery after my checkup. If I can't register and actually participate in the conversation, then what's the point? I guess I should just sit back and watch. Watch all of you pushing for surgery with THE SAME surgeon.
Honestly, I have zero incentive to run ads for anyone or anything. Right now, I'm just waiting to see if anything actually works, alongside my "diet," of course.
But since we're digging through old posts, it's pretty funny how Steven Hernandez14, crimsongull20, and you all keep ending up with the exact same surgeon. Way to go!
Just drop it already so I don't have to keep logging in just to reply to your FAKE posts! I'll come back to this thread later once I can decide if this guy is actually legit or if I'm getting ripped off again like I have a few times before.

Just stop. I don't want to have to log in just to deal with your mindless FAKE posts. I'll check back later to see if this guy actually delivers or if I'm getting scammed again like a few times before...

What "same surgeon"? I have zero clue which doctor Tomislav or bugi went to, or even plan on seeing, but the odds of them picking my guy out of everyone in all of Europe are basically zero...

I never recommended a surgeon to you, and you didn't ask. Also, trying to pin your own lies on everyone else is pretty childish...

You won't get surgery, but you've been "scammed a few times already"? Not making much sense...

Of course you don't need surgery! The percentage of people who actually need a hemorrhoid procedure to stay alive is tiny... practically negligible. Most people go their whole lives without ever needing anything done...

P.S. Just realized bugi is basically a toddler who's somehow managed to drop 159 posts claiming to "live on this forum" at 4 years and 8 months old...🤣

cosmicviper18 said:Hi everyone,
I've been following this thread for a while because I'm dealing with hemorrhoids myself.
Once, I just grabbed some cream from a local CVS on my own, but it ended up being nothing more than some suppositories and one other ointment. I don't see how that actually solves anything; I want to get rid of these things for good.
I bleed during bowel movements, they itch every single day, and every once in a while, a new one pops up.
Since this is an online forum, I figured there must be plenty of people here who have dealt with this before. Right now, I'm totally lost on what to do or who to talk to—unless I just want to get handed another prescription cream or more suppositories... And honestly, I don't have the money for any major surgical procedures...
So, if anyone has any advice for me,...

I posted this a few days ago, but nobody replied except for one person via private message.
I really need a recommendation for a proctologist in NYC. Is it even possible to find one without paying a fortune? I'm broke... I wouldn't be this persistent if it wasn't urgent, so I'm hoping someone can help...
