I'm 15 years old and looking to dive into table tennis, rowing, or handball. Which of these three sports offers the best shot at going pro? Just to add some context, my background so far has been strictly soccer.

Thanks in advance.

It really boils down to how athletic you are, your reflexes, your palate, and your overall agility. If you want to test your reaction time, I’d suggest picking up some table tennis. There’s an old story about Primorac back in his prime—he supposedly caught two glasses falling off a table at once. All with one hand.

p.s. Soccer is a team sport, after all. You should try playing a pickup game with friends or maybe just join a local club in town.

So, you're telling me there's still a shot at going pro in table tennis starting at 15...

If you’d picked up soccer before you were ten, I’d probably tell you to go for handball instead. You’d likely have better coordination by now... you know, knowing exactly when and where to make a play, being quick on your feet (hopefully), and all that.
If you're looking to actually turn pro, though, man, that's a tall order, believe me... you're gonna need a ton of hard work and some serious love for the game if you want to make it at any level.

It’s never too late for table tennis 🙂
