THE WORLD’S PREMIER PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE SHOW, BRIT FLOYD, COMES TO MADISON SQUARE GARDEN ON NOVEMBER 8TH
The absolute pinnacle of Pink Floyd tribute acts, Brit Floyd, is hitting Madison Square Garden on Thursday, November 8th, as part of their massive a Foot in The Door World tour 2012.
Back in 2010, Chas Cola—head of the CMP Entertainment agency—joined forces with Brit Floyd’s own guitarist and musical director, Damian Darlington, to form the group in Liverpool. Notably, Damian actually had the honor of playing alongside David Gilmour during his 50th birthday celebration in London back in 1996.
Music critics have officially crowned Brit Floyd as the best and most authentic Pink Floyd tribute show in existence, calling them a true reincarnation of Pink Floyd and the gold standard for tribute performances everywhere.
Since Pink Floyd likely isn't heading out on tour again, this is our best shot at seeing a flawless version of the band. Brit Floyd has obsessed over every single sonic detail; if you close your eyes during the show, you could easily convince yourself you're actually sitting in a Pink Floyd concert.
The a Foot in The Door World tour 2012 is dedicated to Pink Floyd’s final "best of" collection, Pink Floyd 'a Foot in the Door' (EMI / Dallas Records). Visually, the show is modeled after the legendary Division Bell tour from 1994 (often referred to as "puls" due to the live album and DVD), featuring identical lighting setups and video projections for every track. During the two-plus hour performance, Brit Floyd rips through the hits from every era, including selections from the massive, 23x platinum masterpiece, The Wall.
Brit Floyd has been blowing minds everywhere they go, from sold-out shows at London's Royal Albert Hall to performing for over 250,000 people on last year's tour. Their setlist isn't just a shallow "greatest hits" collection; it's a curated "best of" designed by die-hard Floyd fans. You can expect classics like Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Parts I-V), Learning to Fly, High Hopes, Welcome to the Machine, Mother Pigs, Echoes, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky, Wish You Were Here, One of These Days, Nobody Home, The Happiest Days of Our Lives, Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2), Comfortably Numb, along with favorites like See Emily Play, Money, Us and Them, Hey You, Is There Anybody Out There?, Vera Lynn, Bring the Boys Back Home, and even Syd Barrett’s See Emily Play.

The show kicks off at 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 8th, at Madison Square Garden. Floor seating prices are $53 until October 1st, $60 starting October 2nd, and $67 at the door. For bleacher seating, it's $63 until October 1st, $70 from October 2nd, and $77 at the door.
