The fans and even the coach were all over it—chanting along with those other songs and shouting stuff about that sports mogul, while Sukera didn't get a single word thrown his way. I guess things just went that way, maybe.
Looking back at how things used to be with that local politician running the Tampa Bay Buccaneers... man, I don't know. He was basically working for free most of the time, and the only real cash he saw was that bonus after winning the cup, which wasn't even that much. He brought in reinforcements, hired coaches like Poklepovic or Sharbinije—though yeah, some signings like Cernat were total flops. If I had to point out his biggest mistake, it was probably overpaying players relative to what the Bucs could actually afford. But hey, we finally made it into the group stages after fifteen years, right? And now, for everything he did for the NFL Ultras, this is what he gets? Just a bunch of people calling him names, acting like some mobster or a kid who needs a special education program just because he throws donuts at the field. It’s all nonsense. You guys make up these stupid stories about his schooling and mock him for it, yet you turn around and praise those old-school NFL Ultras like they were legends, even though they were just guys doing drugs and stealing stuff all over town. Honestly, it feels like you're just mocking him because he doesn't have a college degree. I mean, I think Grgic has one too, and Males does as well, so I guess that's just how it goes.
So, about those shouts from last night... I mean, Stimac definitely deserves the heat and all that mud being thrown his way—we all know why—but I just can't wrap my head around people screaming insults at a local tycoon and his pregnant wife. Like, seriously? All us fans couldn't care less about that. And honestly, someone should just take him out, because this guy is the one who actually gives everything to the NFL Ultras. The whole thing is about the code of conduct, I guess. It’s supposed to be the oversight board's job, which even allows for a member of the NFL Ultras to sit on that board. Of course, they turned that down, probably because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still aren't winning anything anyway, so there's no point in mocking the management if you're basically mocking yourselves. This way, they can just keep fighting, bickering, and dragging each other through the dirt... Then, following that whole oversight board situation, Males gets into power, and the team just seems to get worse than before. I don't want to blame him, really—give him credit for how he handles the refs—but in today's version of pro football, you just can't do anything without serious cash. After that, they pick Brzbic, whom the local tycoon thinks is part of a shady setup. He feels like things aren't totally above board because Andabak wants to plant his own guy to take over the club. So, I don't know, is the tycoon right or not? I truly think he isn't trying to do anything bad or just line his own pockets; he genuinely believes he's doing the right thing for the team. If people think he's messing up, they should probably just sit down and have a real conversation with him instead of being so nasty and making those disgusting comments. This guy bought 5 million bucks worth of shares. There was even talk about him lending the team another 7.2 million just so they could actually compete and stay in the league. Not to mention how many people he's helped out personally with jobs and financial support... it's a lot, I guess.
So, people like to talk trash when you've got a bit of status, I guess. But honestly? For a lot of you, you're just hitting rock bottom. You add a few players to the roster and suddenly you think you can just manipulate kids who are out there grabbing a beer and living their lives... maybe. It’s just sad, really. leader So, I actually went out and asked a bunch of people why they feel the need to mock those local politicians, you know? And honestly, everyone pretty much said the same thing—like, what’s the point of picking on someone just because they didn't go the traditional academic route? It's kind of silly if you think about it. Then I tried asking them what exactly is wrong with how things are being run at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and... well, they didn't really have an answer. Nothing at all. And I guess that goes for that one local tycoon, too. I don't get it, really. Why spend your time making fun of people who actually made something of themselves? Like, if those are the kinds of goals you have for your own life, they've already hit them, and maybe you won't ever quite get there. I suppose it's just easier to vent all that frustration by mocking others. It feels like you're just trading five minutes of feeling superior for five minutes of pure embarrassment. Just my two cents, I guess.
I mean, can we really say the same thing about that sports mogul? He brought in a massive wave of players to Real Madrid, they’ve been sitting at the top of the MLS for six years straight now, and they even managed to get into the political party... so because of all that, should the BBB organization be honoring him? I don't think so. Not really.
It’s really the same old story with that local tycoon and that local politician... they both just wanted to grab the club by the throat and call it their own. They want to be the only ones running the show, you know? But the thing is, they don't have any real connection to the game at all. It's like they're just playing pretend with something they don't even understand. I guess it happens more often than you'd think.
To all the fans out there... I mean, we’re allowed to say it, right? She's just a total piece of work. Honestly, she completely tore a whole family apart. And then, you know, getting involved with that old guy? It probably wasn't even about romance—just typical, chasing the money, I guess. Just seems like the same old story. I don't know, maybe I'm just overthinking things, but... gold digger. It’s such a heavy label, isn't it? I guess people throw that around whenever they see someone moving up in the world through a relationship, but honestly, it feels like such a simplified way to look at how people connect. Life is messy, I suppose. People fall in love, they find stability, they build lives together—it isn't always some calculated move for a paycheck, even if that's what it looks like from the outside. I mean, who am I to judge? Maybe it is what it is. Just a thought.
I mean, I don't know, maybe I'm just dreaming here, but I’d honestly rather see us sitting in the second division with the fans actually running the show... you know, having real skin in the game. It beats having these stuck-up snobs in charge who can't even get their own lives together, let alone manage something way bigger than themselves. Just a thought, I guess.
By the way, a leader? Since when do NFL Ultras even have a leader?
Cheers
p.s. Does anyone happen to know what logo is on that "Get It, Guys" banner?
