Movie moments that gave you the chills

The reflecting skin

Argento's Suspiria. When those damn little worms started dropping from the ceiling... man, that was a total nightmare. I actually pissed myself. Honestly, I'm usually pretty chill, but I've got this massive phobia of those gross little things. They seriously gross me out.

I honestly don't think any scene out there hits harder emotionally than the finale of In the Name of the Father.

As for those scenes that actually get under your skin—it’s gotta be the ending of Se7en. Definitely.

I’ve always had a soft spot for Gattaca. Specifically that moment when Ethan Hawke delivers the line, "this is how I did it, Anton Chigurh: I never saved anything for the swim back!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1oU3...eature=related

Then there’s that scene from Batman 1989 where Batman is driving Vicky around. The soundtrack and the whole vibe of that sequence? Absolutely incredible. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99M7aK9Xrjc And of course, the scene showing the death of his parents. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4F9RzLqKu2g

Man on Fire http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6X6tHmyLvUQ

Titanic http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MDPeL8lpzo is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OGhK4...eature=related just incredible

August Rush http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MW3lF9W0g6o hits different too

p.s. aren't they all just fleeting moments?

I’ll never forget the moment when Esmeralda finally looked up (well, it wasn't a movie, but still)—an hour after it ended, I just sat there in front of the TV, totally moved and honestly a little teary-eyed. Another memory that sticks with me is from that classic road trip flick where they have a blowout; Zivadin Jaric 'Jare' steps out with such seasoned confidence to check the tire, while some lady driving a popular old sedan comes barreling toward them at a "galactic" speed of about 28 miles/h
