People who actually made it to the race are saying it was a total disaster 😢 half of them didn't even make it to the track yesterday because the access roads were completely gridlocked—the organizers basically told everyone who bought tickets to just stay home 😢 I’m expecting to see massive waves of refunds coming through

I haven't made it out to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway yet, but from what I understand, whenever it starts to rain, everything just falls apart and everyone ends up soaked in mud. It’s not really my scene anyway, since there isn't much of a city to explore around the circuit—New York City already feels like home to me.😁

Crowds are a constant at every single race; that's nothing new. If I'd driven, I would've left by 6:00 AM, and if I walked, I would've been out by 8:00. Honestly, I have my doubts about all those refunds happening...

I think it boils down to a few specific issues:

a) The access roads are incredibly narrow—there are basically only two main ways in.
b) They're using grassy fields for parking, which is a nightmare given how hilly the terrain is.
c) You have people setting up lemonade stands in the small towns along the route, so every few minutes someone stops to grab a drink, which just adds more congestion to an already struggling flow.🙂

I’m honestly just as hyped for the rain as I am dreading an SC. Between how boring they are and how much they can mess with the final standings through pure manipulation, I'm over it. From what I've seen so far, anything goes.
As for the race, same old story: I just want to see Kimi as high up in the rankings as possible.🤷
