Pain in my right thumb

So here's the deal... my sister's been complaining about this pain in her right thumb for like ten days now, and tonight it actually started swelling up a bit. I honestly can't tell for sure, but it feels like maybe the bone popped out of place or something? It's swollen right at the base of the finger and around the knuckle too, and she can't even move it without it hurting like hell. Any advice?? 😢

Why doesn't he just go see a doctor? 🤷
