Anyone seen this before?
Got an LG 23" monitor-TV combo. Everything was fine until yesterday. Now the remote’s acting up—thought it was just dead batteries, swapped them out, still nothing. The screen works, but I can't switch over to TV mode. To make things worse, now I'm staring at a white screen with this little "V3.08.0" password prompt pop-up.
What's the deal? Can I actually fix this myself? 😢
Thanks in advance

Just to clear things up
I'm talking about a Dell UltraSharp 23 monitor-TV combo
Old thing, maybe two years in
Never given me any grief until now

Hmm... looks like you picked the wrong input. That number staring back at you is just the firmware version—not actually a video feed. You should have a Return/Exit button on your remote somewhere; just give that a tap. Turn the monitor off using the remote, power it back up, and then try selecting the right input this time—like AV or HDMI or whatever you're actually using.

Monitor’s totally bricked. Won't take any commands, direct or via remote. Everything's locked up... can't even switch to the TV input. As soon as I plug it in, it boots up, and the only way to kill it is to yank the cord out of the wall. Nothing works...
I'm telling you, I haven't touched a single setting... and honestly, pretty sure nobody else has either...

Anyone actually know how to do a factory reset on a monitor? Like, how do I get back to default settings...

You can try running a reset through the menu or just using the remote, but if the thing isn't responding to anything at all—nothing—then you're basically stuck... you'll have to take it to a repair shop, because there's a good chance some part of the electronics finally kicked the bucket.
