briskbison66 said:The safe bets: both teams scoring or not (honestly, I don't have the odds memorized off the top of my head), or just taking the Under (odds around 2.2).👍👍

Less safe options: Emmen fails to score (2.9) or an away win for Telstar (2.3).👍👍

High risk: a handicap on Telstar, somewhere around 4 point something.👍👍

Kudos, briskbison66. Full-time result was 0-2.☕

What are the odds on Ajaccio vs Lyon at 1.85?

Lyon seems to be in great shape right now, and the cup might be their only shot at a trophy this season
Ajaccio is playing in the third division—I know they knocked out Montpellier before—but I guess betting on them to pull off another massive upset is probably a stretch.

Pretty interesting stuff—though I haven't seen our local sportsbooks jump on it yet, since the odds for a 2 are sitting at 2.40

Eric Fox7, I had my suspicions about this one, but now the fans have gone and totally messed things up...

This match is going to be under a massive microscope with Ueffe watching... Marseille is already dealing with a total mess, and if this happens, they could get hammered on every single front... they saw what happened to Juventus because of this kind of nonsense... if they want to go down that road, fine by me... 😍

Honestly, Marseille plays so poorly right now that if they actually tried to push, they’d probably just blow it. If they play it safe and keep their foot off the gas, nobody will even notice—and Montpellier doesn't need much encouragement to score. They're a solid side. For Marseille, points don't seem to matter anymore, and even when they did, they just threw them away. I wouldn't be surprised if Marseille fans end up openly rooting for Montpellier at the stadium tomorrow. It's better to just tighten things up.

I mean, look—it’s not exactly unheard of to just... let a game slide. And I don't mean that weird, suspicious stuff where you're actively trying to score own goals—I'm talking about that casual approach where you bench half your starters and just kind of drift through the match because it doesn't matter for the standings. Then, to top it off, you end up losing and somehow managing to annoy your biggest rival in the process. It’s funny, though—Marseille is playing like absolute garbage lately, while Montpellier is actually looking pretty sharp. Honestly, even if the home team hadn't been "taking it easy," an away win wouldn't have surprised me one bit. 🤷

Marseille players have already piled enough frustration onto their fans with those crushing defeats—now, if they actually pull off a win, it’ll just be a whole new set of headaches. They really ought to step up and meet expectations for once. 🙂 Like I said before, both sides are playing at full throttle; it wouldn't be a shocker if Montpellier pulled it off, considering they nearly snatched it from PSG in their last away match.

Real Sociedad vs Real Betis, Under 2.5 goals @5.25 Bet-Live

Real Sociedad usually keeps things tight at home; when they win, the visitors struggle to find the net. Their home record is 7-4-4.
Real Betis tends to go quiet on the road when they're losing. Away from home, they're sitting at 5-0-10.

Looking at Real Sociedad's recent home run: 2-0, 0-0, 1-1, 1-0...

Over 2.5 goals😁

Real Sociedad vs Real Betis Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70
Both of these sides are sitting right in the middle of the pack—pretty much nothing to separate them in the standings right now.
Looking at the context, Sociedad is sitting 9 points ahead of a struggling Zaragoza side, while Betis is hovering about 10 points clear of that relegation scrap.
Sociedad at home is actually pretty decent—they’re rocking a 7-4-4 record lately—and over their last 15 home matches, they’ve put up 23 goals while letting in 15.
They play an open, aggressive style of football because they’ve got some serious firepower upfront... I'm talking names like Vela, Zurutuza, Antoine Griezmann, Prieto, and Agirretxe.
But look, there's a catch today—they'll be missing goalkeeper C. Braga and defender Mikel Gonzales.
That’s a massive headache for their backline; losing two key pieces like that is a huge shakeup for the squad's chemistry.
As for Real Betis on the road, they’ve been shaky with a 5-0-10 record, scoring 15 but coughing up 23 in the process.
Still, Betis has a killer duo up front that can hurt anyone—Santa Cruz and Ruben Castro are both lethal.
And just to make things interesting, Betis is also dealing with absences in defense, missing Mario and Ustaritz.
When these two met earlier in Sevilla, Sociedad managed to scrape out a 2-3 win.
Both teams have found their rhythm lately and are finding the back of the net regularly... so I’m expecting an all-out shootout today where the attackers exploit the defensive holes on both sides.

FC Augsburg vs VfB Stuttgart Over 2.5 goals @ 1.70
Augsburg hasn't been easy to beat at home—they've only dropped three games so far... losses against Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen (who were absolutely flying at the start of the season), and Hoffenheim.
They’ve got an 8-game unbeaten streak running at the SGL Arena, boasting a 5-6-3 record with a goal difference of 17:15. They're currently sitting just outside that relegation danger zone. After that loss to Bayern, Arjen Robben even remarked that this squad is way too good to be going down.
On the other hand, Stuttgart is hitting a massive stride. They haven't lost in several matches since February and are now positioned to really push for a spot in European competition.
Vedad Ibišević is absolutely cooking right now—he’s scoring or assisting almost every single game... Stuttgart has blasted 11 goals in their last four outings alone.
Augsburg has bagged 7 goals in their last 8 matches.
Meanwhile, Stuttgart has been clinical, dropping 26 goals in 9 matches—that's a ridiculous 3-goal average.
Last time out, Stuttgart pulled off a 2-1 win at home.
Given how these teams are playing, I’m leaning toward another high-scoring affair, though I'd give the slight edge to the visitors since they've found such incredible form.
For the injury report: Augsburg is missing Oehrl, de Jong, Bah, Gogia, and Moravek, while Stuttgart will be without Boulahrouz.

Ever since someone first brought up the issues surrounding Emmen on this forum—back when they suffered that 6-0 blowout—I’ve realized that betting on them only yields any kind of decent profit on Fridays, which is usually when they play.
Honestly, outside of games against Emmen, I don't think there's any point in playing parlays in that league because anything can happen. 😁
Moving forward, I’d suggest looking at the unders or betting on both teams to score 3 or more, but stay away from Eindhoven; they are actually quite a solid side in that league.

I really wonder when the sportsbooks will finally catch on to Emmen. It was hilarious last Friday when the odds for Zwolle—who are sitting at the top of the table, by the way—were sitting at 1.15. I thought to myself, "Finally, the bookies have figured it out," only for Emmen to fail to score and hit the 2.0 line.
🤣

Emmen will undoubtedly manage to score at least one goal before the season ends, but if I were placing bets right now, I’d put my money on them scoring no more than one. The whole situation is pure chaos, which is frankly ridiculous. Anyone who consistently bets on Emmen to score—given how absurdly low those odds are, hovering between 1.2 and 1.5 week after week—isn't making sense or is just throwing money away.

Lyon seems to be in such incredible form right now, and I suppose the cup might just be the one major trophy left for them to claim.
Since Ajaccio is playing in the third division—and I know they actually managed to knock out Montpellier—it feels like a bit of a stretch to expect them to pull off yet another massive upset.

Honestly, a 2.00 return would have been such an amazing gift if it had been a viable option.

Maybe tomorrow's match between Rennes and Quevilly, which is also a third-division matchup, at 1.50 odds could be worth a look.

I feel like Real Madrid is almost certainly going to win, though I suppose they might struggle to cover the handicap at the Vicente Calderón Stadium.
I guess it’s always such a gritty, tight affair whenever Atletico Madrid is playing at home.

If you just have some extra cash you're looking to throw around, then maybe give it a shot.😁

I’m thinking it might be worth looking at the handicap for Real Madrid—though I suspect we'll see a narrow one-goal margin at the end. They always seem to flirt with disaster by conceding late and throwing away the title. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid looks like they're losing steam; they just can't keep up with the pace of both the league and the Europa League.
It might be wise to consider the H2 option... I'm definitely adding it to my parlay.

I wouldn't bet on Real Madrid tomorrow even if the odds were a massive 3.00 ☕ It's pure chaos... Barca is basically sitting at -4 right now (counting -1 because of El Clásico, so they can't afford one single slip-up), half their squad can't handle that kind of pressure, and on top of everything, it's a derby 🙂

But hey, might be worth a shot on Bilbao at 2.60 😁

I know things always get intense when Atletico Madrid is playing at home.

If you actually enjoy the chaos of betting, then go ahead and give it a shot. 😁

It’s not just about Madrid. 😉
Out of their last six away games, they've only covered the handicap once. Tough run.

March 31, 2012. La Liga. Osasuna vs. Real Madrid. Final score: 3-1. Rough outing for the visitors.
March 21, 2012. Villarreal vs. Real Madrid ended in a 1-1 draw. Just another day at the office.
March 10, 2012. La Liga. Real Betis vs. Real Madrid. A wild 3-2 finish. Intense stuff.
February 26, 2012. La Liga. Rayo Vallecano vs. Real Madrid. Final score: 3-0. Tough outing for the visitors.
Match results: Getafe vs. Real Madrid, 3-0.
Match results: RCD Mallorca 3-1 Real Madrid.

Handicap on Real Madrid? Yeah, no thanks. ☕

Regardless of what the stats say—and they always tell a partial story—I’m leaning toward an H2 result based purely on gut feeling. They’re going to give it everything they've got, but let's be honest: they're arguably a class above the version of Atletico Madrid that first emerged under Diego Simeone—a team that, lately, seems to be dropping points against even the most mediocre sides. Sure, it’s a local derby, but don't let that cloud the prediction. My money is on a 1-3 or even a 0-3 scoreline. 🙂 Jose knows 🙂

FC Barcelona is already at -1 right now.😉
