Total night owl vibes here.

2:00 AM. Union Española vs. Universidad Católica. Let’s see what happens.
(2,5) plus 1,65... SS.

So, the playoffs are kicking off over in the States. We've got those first eight teams going head-to-head at 4 PM, all that tension and noise, while only one lucky winner actually gets to stand there at the end, celebrating with a cold drink in hand. One person takes it all. Everyone else just watches. 😁
They’re basically all gas and no brakes—just this aggressive, high-octane squad that averages about 3.88 goals per game. That puts them right at the top of the league for pure firepower. Honestly, they’ve got the second-best offense around with 38 goals on the board, but man, their defense is a bit of a sieve. They’ve already let in 28. It’s one of those "win big or lose big" situations. Looking at their home stretch over nine games, they’ve put up 25 and let in 16, which tells you everything you need to know about the chaos they bring to the pitch. 4,56 Total joke of a game... honestly, with this whole two-legged aggregate setup, they’re obviously going to go all out to grab as big a lead as possible before the return leg. I don't see them sitting back and playing defense for a second. Not happening. 🤣 Then you’ve got the guys at State University. They play this weird hot-and-cold game where they're absolutely electric one minute and completely lifeless the next. And honestly? When they head out to an away game, they usually just look totally lukewarm. It's like they lose all that spark the second they step off campus. 🙄 Nine games in and only two wins... honestly, I’m just holding out hope they can manage to put even one ball in the net today. If they don't, we might actually be looking at a total disaster by the end of the season. handicapI was just thinking about that old track by Iranom Minus. It’s one of those songs that just hits different when you're driving late at night on some empty stretch of highway outside of Austin. You know the vibe—just cruising, windows down, nothing but the radio and your own thoughts. It’s funny how certain melodies can just pull you right back into a specific mood, isn't it? Anyway, just a random thought crossing my mind while I was staring at a lukewarm cup of coffee. 🤣 Their games are averaging about 2.88 goals, and when you look at their away stretch, that number sits around 2.67. It’s basically a drought out there—just two teams that are perfect for a shootout. Honestly, what else is there to say? I'm taking the over. 🤷 Plus, these two teams have actually run into each other three times this season already—once in the regular league play and twice during the Copa Libertadores. Out of those three matchups, two of them went totally over on the goal totals, while that one other game just ended up being a boring 1-1 draw.

I've been chewing on the upcoming matchup between the Atlanta Braves and the Dodgers... It’s the World Series, and honestly, I think the Dodgers have nothing left to lose at this point. They basically need to snatch this trophy just to salvage what's left of their season...Handicap is sitting at 1.70 over here, which is an absolute steal if you ask me. Definitely worth grabbing 🤷

f+2 on Barca @ 1.8 at the sportsbook

I wouldn't put even two bucks on that if I were you. Personally, I’m leaning toward Bilbao—especially since I expect those odds to climb a bit tomorrow. It’s just one game, played right there in Madrid, and when you consider how bloated Barca seems after all those trophies they've been collecting (if you listen to what VB16 was saying about La Liga), plus the fact that they'll be missing Puyol and Alves... I just can't help but think Bilbao might pull it off.

I agree—this Zahovaiko guy is vital for Orlando City; he sets the tempo and is a solid scorer. Plus, the fans love him. 🙄

Posts like this are just pure nonsense.

I guarantee more than 95% of the people on this forum—yourself included—have never even heard of any of the players you listed. Spare us the posts.

How do you actually know if those four from Orlando are their core starters, or just benchwarmers who likely won't even see the field?

If you happen to have actual data, feel free to share it—otherwise, this is just pointless noise that serves no one.

08.07.11 LA Galaxy vs Seattle 3 : 1
05.30.11 Seattle vs LA Galaxy 0 : 2

06.13.10 Seattle vs LA Galaxy 0 : 2

It might be useful to note that FC Honka holds an impressive H2H record against KuPS.
11 consecutive wins:

10.13.11 KuPS Honka 1 : 4
08.07.11 Honka KuPS 3 : 1
05.30.11 KuPS Honka 0 : 2
09.19.10 Honka KuPS 2 : 1
06.13.10 KuPS Honka 0 : 2
09.26.09 KuPS Honka 0 : 4
06.24.09 Honka KuPS 4 : 1
01.20.09 Honka KuPS 7 : 0
09.28.08 Honka KuPS 2 : 1
06.30.08 KuPS Honka 1 : 2
08.24.06 Honka KuPS 4 : 0
🤷

Well, that is quite a streak. 😁

No need to convince me—I am not betting on this anyway. I only used that KuPS matchup as an example.

It is frankly idiotic how this guy posts injury updates every single day and bases his entire strategy on them—without actually knowing anything about these teams or the players involved.

I could just drop this link every day for all the good it does:

http://pozagra.com/en/05_2012/24/rea..._de_huelva.php

And there you have it. No real difference. 🤷

.....well, I figured they could at least manage to scrape one goal together today. If they didn't, they were looking at being handicap deep in the red 🤣.....

Final score 3:0 👍

LAFC absolutely dismantled them. Honestly, based on how that looked on the field, the score should've been that high by halftime... I don't even think the visitors had three decent chances to score 🤷the entire game....what a joke
I was banking on the fact that if they couldn't get at least one, they wouldn't lose the handicap because the Galaxy rarely settles for just a single goal 😁

How can you even claim those four from Hiawatha are their top starters? For all we know, they're just benchwarmers who wouldn't even get much playing time.

And if you actually happen to have that info, why don't you share it? Otherwise, this is just mindless bickering that serves absolutely no one.

I mostly agree, but I just found this online. Someone else will probably go out of their way to prove how important they are, and then you'll have your fun.🤣

Pittsburgh Steelers v Green Bay Packers
The home team is dealing with some massive holes in their lineup: Belec, Vinetot, Gabionetta, and Djuric are all out.
Pick: Double Chance X2

Seattle Seahawks v New York Giants
The Giants are absolutely shorthanded, missing six key players including starters and reliable bench depth: Magallanes, Gasparetto, De Vito, Job, Marchesan, and Busellato.
Pick: Home Win

Something to chew on for your late afternoon:

Saturday, around 6:30 PM, give or take.

University of Southern California vs. LA Galaxy

Over 2.5 goals, maybe even 1.70 odds if you're looking at the spread.

It’s the second leg of this playoff series in Los Angeles. In the first matchup back in May, the Galaxy absolutely dismantled USC with a 3-0 shutout... so honestly, USC’s chances of moving forward are pretty slim since these playoffs run on a knockout format. Still, they’re hoping for a miracle, which would be quite the feat considering how they've been playing lately. They haven't shown much of anything. I can't even remember them creating a single decent scoring chance. That 0-3 loss was actually a somewhat respectable 🤣 result for them, and hey, they’re being honest about it...
Why am I leaning towards the over?
I mentioned some bits about these two clubs in my preview for their last game—basically, both teams want to play open, high-scoring soccer. When you look at USC playing at home, the stats are wild. In 8 home games, they’ve pulled off 6 wins, had 2 draws, and not a single loss... goal difference is sitting at 20:4. Those 4 goals conceded are eye-catching when you think about the over, 😁 because statistically, they’re only giving up half a goal per home game, but... the Galaxy aren't nearly as dominant on the road as they are at home. Their away record is 8-3-2 with a goal difference of 13:12, which tells the whole story. Interestingly enough, out of 8 away matches, there was only one where they kept a clean sheet, and just one where they failed to score. Just to be clear, I'm not talking about the same game 🤣. They only failed to score against one team (some low-tier outfit like San Jose), who is basically the definition of an "under" team, sitting 16th out of 18 in scoring. Plus, this match looks like it'll be wide open. Trying to chase down a 0-3 deficit means USC is going to be throwing everything at them, and I highly doubt the Galaxy defense can hold firm without leaking a goal. And if USC wants an easier path to finding the net, they might get lucky with the Galaxy's keeper, Eduardo Lobos, who got tossed in the last game after a heated verbal spat with some USC fans 🤦 (it was his second yellow, obviously) so he won't be out there for the rematch. Weather-wise, it looks like rain is on the way too. Regardless, I'm calling it: a rain of goals 👋 and at least two red cards🤣.

Under goals and over red cards 🤣 I didn't catch the match, but playing down a man against the Galaxy from the 22nd minute isn't exactly ideal ☕ and it can definitely lead to a complete meltdown where you end up losing two more guys ten minutes before the whistle... gotta find the highlights to see what kind of absolute slaughterhouse it was 😁 my bad to anyone who actually placed a bet on this—it's a wash... oh well, tomorrow's another day 🙂

Under goals and over red cards 🤣. Didn't catch the game, but playing down a man against Union since the 22nd minute is a disaster ☕. It’s enough to make anyone lose their mind, and then you end up losing two more guys ten minutes before the whistle... gotta watch the highlights to see how much of a bloodbath it actually was 😁. My bad to anyone who actually sat through that mess—whatever, tomorrow's another day 🙂.

Almost had it. I was sitting on an underdog +3
. After those two got tossed (one for a dirty tackle, one for bitching about that red 🤷), Union tied it up 1-1 immediately, and then they nearly hit the post on the very next play 🙂.

There were maybe 5 or 6 minutes left after that, but they looked totally dead. Zero desire to find another goal
.

MLS: Inter Miami vs. Orlando City (2.40)

Look, let’s be real—Inter Miami is basically bottom-of-the-barrel right now in the MLS. They’ve been gutting their roster all winter, offloading some key players they actually needed. Their record this season is honestly embarrassing; they’ve managed exactly one win in nine matches, and that was against Orlando about a month ago—a team that’s sitting just one point above them. Miami is dead last with a measly five points. To make matters worse, they’re going into today without three of their core starters: Vaganov, who hasn't missed a single minute of play this season, plus Agyeman in holding mid, Emet in the center, and Aho at right back, who hasn't even touched the pitch yet this year. From what I can gather, Orlando is rolling out their strongest lineup. The visitors have a slight edge since this is being played at a neutral site, though it's still close enough to Miami's home turf to feel a bit weird.

Miami at home: 1-0-3
Orlando away: 2-0-2

The odds on Orlando have been sliding down across most major sportsbooks lately—averaging a drop from around 2.50 down to 2.30. Over here, they’re still sitting at 2.40, making them the slight favorites, while the money is actually starting to drift toward Miami.

Bryan Adams6 said:Chilean soccer 🙏 🙏

I'm with you on that 😁 most teams follow that "all offense, no defense" mantra 🙏 and honestly, there's plenty to watch because of it...

Like I said, it's a new day 🙂 but still—one late night pick for you:

00:30 O'Higgins vs. Union La Calera

Pick: 1 | 1.60 SS

It’s the second leg. O'Higgins took the first game 1-0 away thanks to a goal by Ramon Fernandez (any Seattle Sounders fans might remember him...) .....
Anyway, Union La Calera isn't exactly a welcoming host; during the regular season, they've had only one home loss, which came against Universidad Chile, and even then, it was just a narrow 0-1 defeat... A team that relies so heavily on their defense, especially at home, rarely hands over easy wins to visitors. Still, in that first playoff leg, O'Higgins did a hell of a job, handing them only their second home loss this season after they'd gone into that match with high hopes... It was a massive blow to the confidence of a side that's been playing decent ball lately, though their road record is a bit shaky at 8-2-2-4 with an 11:13 goal difference. They picked up wins against Cobresal and Huachipato, but let's be real, those aren't exactly top-tier teams compared to O'Higgins. I don't see much chance of the visitors pulling off a win today. Why? Because O'Higgins is a beast at home—their 8-6-1-1 record with a 19:7 goal differential makes life miserable for anyone visiting. Their only loss was to Católica, and that was a last-minute heartbreak. They play aggressively and create tons of openings. Word is they aren't relaxing tonight; they're hunting for a second win to seal the deal. Since the visitors won't be able to sit back and defend all night (not that they have much to defend after that first loss), I think the home side will carve out plenty of chances. If they convert at least two, this pick hits. The only downside is the rain forecast, which usually turns the pitch into a total mess (how else can you describe 🤣 that kind of scrap?) So, the question is whether the grass stays playable from minute to minute. Hopefully, it stays decent enough for 🤷 about half an hour while O'Higgins digs in and takes the lead...

Edit:

22:00 Cobreloa Calama vs. Un. de Chile

Pick: 2 | 2.00 SS

I'm only taking this one because of the odds. There's no doubt Universidad is the better squad, but they've been rotating the lineup in the league lately because juggling domestic play with the Copa Libertadores is a grind. They actually managed three away losses, which is weird for a team this good, but given the fatigue factor, it makes sense. Cobreloa has three wins at home in eight games, but Union La Calera is the only heavy hitter to ever walk out of Calama with a loss; their other wins were against much weaker competition. However, what caught my eye was one specific detail... the return leg for these two is Monday, June 11th, and Universidad plays Boca Juniors away just one day after that. We're talking about a Copa Libertadores semifinal here! Honestly, Universidad will likely play with serious intensity tonight just so they can rotate some key players before that massive matchup against Boca.Look, this is just my two cents, and I didn't actually get a chance to check the lineup for the State University game today, but I'm just guessing here... It feels pretty obvious they’re going to come out swinging and try to sweep the whole thing up today.

Darcy Blake - Cardiff City
David Vaughan - Sunderland
Lewis Price - Crystal Palace

The following players are currently en route to the US:

Jason Brown - Aberdeen

Joel Lynch - Nottingham Forest
Chris Gunter - Nottingham Forest
Adam Matthews - Celtic
Sam Ricketts - Bolton Wanderers
Neil Taylor - Swansea City
Ashley Williams - Swansea City

Joe Allen - Swansea City
Andrew Crofts - Norwich City

Plus 5 substitutes:

Joel Lynch - Nottingham Forest

----

Mexico looks fairly healthy for this evening's matchup. Here is my look at their projected starters and bench:

Goalkeepers: Guillermo Ochoa (AC Ajaccio - France), Alfredo Talavera (Toluca), J.J. Corona (Cruz Azul)

Defenders: Israel Jiménez (UANL), Severo Meza (Monterrey), Rafael Márquez (New York - USA), Francisco Javier Rodríguez (Stuttgart - Germany), Héctor Moreno (Espanyol - Spain), Hugo Ayala (UANL), Carlos Salcido (UANL), Jorge Torres Nilo (UANL).

Midfielders: Jesús Zavala (Monterrey), Luis Ernesto Pérez (Monterrey), Jesús Molina (América), Gerardo Lugo (Morelia), Andrés Guardado (Dep. La Coruña - Spain), Pablo Barrera (West Ham United - England), Angel Reyna (Monterrey), Edgar Andrade (Chiapas)

Look, Minnesota is honestly one of the absolute worst squads in the MLS right now, especially after they offloaded a bunch of their heavy hitters this winter. They’ve been struggling big time this season, managing just one win in nine matches—and that was against a Portland side that sits just one point above them. They’re sitting dead last with only five points on the board. To make matters worse, they're missing three massive starters today: Vaganov in defense (who's played every single minute this season, all 9 games), Agyeman at holding mid (8 appearances), Emet in the center (7 appearances), and Aho at right back (hasn't even touched the pitch yet this season). As far as I know, Portland is rolling out their strongest lineup. The visitors have a slight edge since the game is being played at a neutral site, though it isn't exactly a trek from Minnesota's home turf.

Minnesota at home: 1-0-3
Portland away: 2-0-2

The odds on Portland have been sliding down across basically every sportsbook (dropping from about 2.50 to 2.30 on average), while here we still have them at 2.40 (the favorite), whereas Minnesota's odds have actually drifted up a bit.

FT Minnesota United 0-3 Portland Timbers
26' [0 - 1] Forssell
52' [0 - 2] Kangaskolkka
90' [0 - 3] Kangaskolkka

Pretty routine, really. ☕
