I'm out here digging through this thread trying to track down some links, but I'm coming up empty. Resonators, where you guys hiding?

Did you at least hoard them all for yourself since you're being stingy with the rest of us?

What, you want me to go out and buy you a MacBook too? ☕

Sure, you want me to DM you my Venmo?

Man, how should I know? 😕

They’d probably be a lot easier to track down if there was actually a solid explanation attached to them.

Maybe now you're starting to see why we bother with moderation.
Discussions spiral out of control and become a total mess to navigate.
Trust me, you don't want to see what this place would look like if we didn't clean things up every now and then.

Otherwise, if you're really that desperate, I can point you toward some unmoderated corner of the internet where you can enjoy the chaos.

They’d probably be way easier to track down if there was actually some decent context provided alongside them.

Threads just spiral out of control and turn into a total mess.
Trust me, you don't want to see what this place would look like without any oversight.

Anyway, if you’re really that desperate, I can point you toward some unmoderated corner of the internet where you can go play.

I know for a fact the link I was looking for was sitting on page 35 or 36, and if you or your buddies hadn't scrubbed it, I'd have found it by now.

Go ahead then, send me the link to that unmoderated forum.

Henry Hernandez7 said:I know exactly where that link should have been—it was supposed to be right there on pages 35 or 36. Honestly, if you or any of your colleagues hadn't scrubbed it from the site already, I would’ve had it found in a heartbeat.

Hey, can you send me that unmoderated forum link?

Let’s give this a shot! ovo.
Honestly, that opening post was leagues ahead of yours, and the way you kept tying everything back to the main point in this thread? Classic you. You always have a knack for those connections.

The OP is way better than yours, and honestly, the threads here are just more your speed.

Thanks for the effort.
The intro text hits harder because the moderation actually holds some weight.
Still, I never really liked that site anyway, so I think I'll pass on making the jump over there—I mean, who’s actually looking to build a career on a platform like that?

The intro text is definitely better because the moderation is tighter.
Still, I never really liked that site, so I think I'll skip moving over there (I mean, who’s actually looking to build a career on a platform like that?).

You're too kind! Honestly, I was a little worried you might have forgotten about us.

Look, I promise I'm going to step it up and make sure the discussions I start are much higher quality from now on.
Since that's what you're looking for. 👍

Just because you want me to. 👍

Btw, why haven't you sanctioned or even just deleted that trolling I reported?

And why on earth did you go and lock it now, especially after we just cruised through 46 pages?

Sometimes a question is asked so incredibly nonsensical that any attempt at a written response feels like a complete waste of breath. Honestly, just click the link and try to make sense of it yourself 😉

I’m not even talking about the whole DMCA mess specifically, but rather this general, idiotic rule regarding whether a link needs some sort of explanatory text accompanying it.

Regarding the DMCA topic, at the very least, nothing should be getting scrubbed from the thread—unless we're talking about blatant spam or posts that are truly beneath contempt. Every single link and every individual opinion ought to remain right where it is so people can actually voice their thoughts. When someone finds their post has been deleted, they aren't wrong to view that kind of removal as outright censorship... which is precisely what the DMCA represents in the first place. It’s a bit of a paradox, isn't it?
