Honestly, the whole thing smells like some cheap marketing stunt to me... who even knows at this point.

504 Gateway Time-out
The server failed to provide a response within the allotted timeframe.
Both of these instances are nothing more than blatant copy-paste jobs, and they happen several times a day.

Back in the late nineties, around 1999, this whole thing kicked off—starting with those old monitor forums before evolving into what we have now—but after all these decades, it’s still the same tired story: the forum is down 😂

( which classic 😛 track should I play?

Everything in life changes, except for this damn website

What on earth is going on with this forum?!
I'm getting hit with constant errors, those ads are becoming unbearable, and today the site is running at a snail's pace!
Is someone actively messing with the backend, or is the server just completely overwhelmed?
And where are all the threads and posts disappearing to? Why have they started mass-deleting content—including brand new, legitimate threads that aren't even spam—without a single word of explanation to anyone?!

The truth is, things are moving slow today and just falling apart.

I’m only just now starting to notice how much the color of the theme—or even the PDF when you hover over it with the mouse—actually matters. This red is honestly hideous; it’s like an eyesore that constantly puts me on edge. It would be way better if they just went with some cooler, more chill tones instead.

Why on earth is this forum running at such a snail's pace? I frequent several other message boards where things snap open almost instantaneously—you click once and boom, you're there. But here? It’s a different story entirely. If I click on a sub-forum, I’m left staring at a loading screen for a good ten seconds before anything actually happens. Then, if I try to dive into a specific thread, the delay continues, and if I wait just a heartbeat too long, I’m greeted by those dreaded 502 bad Gateway The or 503 errors. And don't even get me started on trying to fix a typo; if I hit "edit," it feels like an absolute eternity passes before the editor finally loads up. Why is everything so sluggish? Other forums feel lightning-fast in comparison.

It’s been days now where every single page takes an eternity to load. Honestly, it's getting to the point where it's genuinely taxing on my nerves; you could practically smoke a whole pack of cigarettes in the time it takes for one page to actually show up. When is someone actually going to step in and fix things so this forum can function like it's supposed to?

I've been dealing with this slow loading issue for a while now. It’s like the pages try to load but just hang indefinitely, or I get hit with a "server didn't respond in time" error or that 502 bad Gateway The message.

Then I have to mash the 'x' button a few times just to kill the loading process, then hit refresh and try again... and I keep doing that loop until the page finally decides to show up. Not sure if it's just my connection or if it's actually Scott Stewart6...😕

You guys really need to look into the speed issues. This used to be a great forum, but lately, it’s been feeling pretty sluggish.

The forum seems to be under constant attack. It actually all started when I decided to take some advice and adjust my settings in Mozilla to block automatic redirects. I went ahead and did exactly that...

Ever since then, I’ve been seeing that "Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page" notification constantly. So, before anyone claims they've fixed the issue only for it to be hacked again, you should know that's just my security settings doing their job...

If I hadn't blocked that nonsense, I would still be getting bombarded with pop-ups for some random casino or those useless betting sites...

It keeps redirecting me to these random poker sites🙂 🙂

EDIT
Can someone please get their act together? Every single time I log onto this forum, I spend the next hour scrubbing malware off my PC
You guys are becoming a serious liability, seriously
