Give 1366x768 a shot if your monitor can actually handle it; you might see a marginal improvement there.

I've only got 1280, but honestly, that's not even the main issue. The real headache is if I try to bump up the resolution; then I'm just straining my eyes, which feels way worse than all this ridiculous left-to-right scrolling, though that's pretty mindless too. My monitor and PC are both pretty old, so this is really just the sweet spot where everything actually looks okayβwhich is how it should have been from the start, if someone hadn't tried to be a genius β

Itβs frankly strange that none of the authorities have bothered to respond or even offer a comment regarding these objections.

Plus, the forum layout is ridiculously wide; I can barely read half a post before having to scroll horizontally just to see the rest. Itβs the exact same headache with private messages. And don't get me started on the adsβI don't even see actual advertisements, just this obnoxious blue bar flashing every time I open a thread.
Is there actually anything that can be done about this mess?
Look, you can always use the good old ctrl - trick to zoom out on the whole page. Sure, the font might end up looking a bit small, but at least you won't have to constantly fight with that horizontal scroll bar.

Yeah, I suppose the only downside is you'll probably need glasses sooner rather than later, but hey, no biggie. At least you won't be scrolling back and forth constantlyπ

But what am I supposed to do when I try that? I'm hitting ctrl and nothing changes!π€·

Anderson already gave his response, so honestly, what else is there to say?

Iβd at least love to see that gorgeous Apple device in action! Honestly, I don't even have the energy to post on this forum right now because I can't see it. Is it hidden behind some blue loading bar flashing on my screen? π€·. I just finally caught sight of Anderson's response.π

Everyoneβs complaining about having to scroll more, but honestly, the layout feels narrower than it used to be, and Iβm not digging it much.π.
Also, what is the deal with these obnoxious white lines? Is anyone actually planning to fix this? π¬

Yeah, and then all my emoticons get totally messed up π

What kind of mystery is this? It seems everyone has their own unique way of designing a forum layout.π€£ Just look at what Apple can do...

So, I went to grab that script of yours, right? I didn't see any ads at first because I had my ad blocker cranked up, but now they're popping up everywhere. And the worst part? I can't even toggle the blocker back on without the whole damn forum getting nuked. π

Alright, I just took a look and I see what you mean. Honestly, I don't even have the N bar on my Apple device. Let me try zooming the page out to 75%... yeah, I see it now.πActually, once I hit 50% zoom, the bottom right corner starts looking distorted. Typical Apple design, I guess.

So, whatβs the plan now? The ad is gone, but the forum layout still feels way too wide...
EDIT: What happens next? You guys moved the post, but nobody seems interested in jumping in to answer...
