I opened this thread

And yet, here I am today, checking back to see what everyone was saying... only to find the whole thing locked.

Why though?

If the moderator felt the need to shut it down, couldn't they have acted like a decent person—you know, actually posting an explanation instead of just pulling the plug?

If there was something specific about the discussion that bothered them, why not just prune the offending posts and let the conversation continue?

The mod locked it because people started talking nonsense. He tried moving it to a different subforum since the thread—even though it’s about Detroit parts—has zero to do with Detroit, but he couldn't find a better spot. He was at work when it happened, got distracted, and then just blanked on it. 😳So, consider this an apology from our end, but I'm telling you again: this topic doesn't belong in the Detroit section.

Anyway, can one of the other admins move this to where everyone debates the European Union and meeting regulations? I still have no clue where it fits. 🤷

close political ties?

People over there "whine" about everything under the sun, including the European Union and their rules.

I moved this thread over to the Close Political Ties section; it doesn't really fit under Detroit. To me, this just feels like another classic case of the government reaching into citizens' pockets. 😁
