Which tire compounds are we looking at?

Looks like there might be two zones of complete and utter nonsense. 🙂

Between turns 15 and 16... and 3 and 4.

🤦

How boring was that race with two DRS zones?

How many races were scheduled with two DRS zones, only to have one scrapped at the last minute due to some critical safety concern? 🙂

Yellow and silver ones, obviously.

Here’s the full season schedule chart for you, just so you don't have to go hunting for it.😉

I'm just hoping the DRS breaks so we finally get an actual race☕

Expectations? Honestly, I'm just waiting for Red Bull Racing to finally break down and DNF. Not asking for much 🤷

And maybe for the GOAT to snag another win.

Anyway, looking forward to some decent overtaking and actual racing.

How on earth is this even possible?
I mean, seriously, I don't find this even remotely fair to any of the other teams out there.🤷

darkmarlin16, let's be reasonable here.
They were running a twelve-year-old chassis, using demo tires that aren't even remotely comparable to race rubber, and the driver was Neel Jani. Not to mention the sheer amount of dust coating the track and the fact that he was only at full throttle on the straightaways.

If Red Bull actually manages to squeeze any value out of this run, more power to them.☕

If Red Bull can pull any kind of benefit from this race, more power to them. ☕

There will definitely be some benefits, even if they're minimal.

But those tires! 🙏🙏🙏🤣

It feels like this track was practically designed by someone from the Red Bull Racing camp...
If Vettel actually wanted to win here, he could probably pull it off with a thirty-second cushion easy.

They used a twelve-year-old car, they were running demo tires that aren't even remotely relevant, and the driver was basically a total amateur. Not to mention all the grit and dust covering the track and the fact that he was only pinning it on the straightaways.

If Red Bull actually gets anything out of this run, honestly, more power to them. ☕

😕😕😕

How on earth are you thinking it's 😕twelve years old?🤷

mistybear87 said:So, what’s the deal with the tires? Seriously, what is even going on there? 🤷

Honestly, they’re just straight-up filthy.🙄😁

mistybear87 said:Honestly, this is just getting ridiculous at this point—it’s beyond deserving. 🤦 I don't even know where to start with this one, honestly. It’s just one of those things that stays on my mind, you know? Like, you think you've got a handle on how things work, and then suddenly everything shifts and you're just left scratching your head while everyone else acts like nothing happened. It's wild. I was thinking about it earlier—just sitting there, staring at the wall—and it hit me how much we overlook the obvious stuff just because we're too busy chasing the next big thing. We're all just running around in circles, making these massive assumptions, acting like we've got it all figured out when, in reality, most of us are just winging it. And don't even get me started on the sheer absurdity of it all. It's almost funny if you stop to think about how ridiculous the whole situation actually is. But yeah, anyway, that's just my two cents. Just some random thoughts rattling around in my brain. 🤣

Honestly, I’m looking at you and it’s pretty obvious you’re just talking out of your ass at this point. 😉

Hold on, couldn't you say the exact same thing about every single track on this season's calendar? 😁

Well😁...looking at the results, you could say that, but there were certain tracks where I honestly thought Seb was pushing that Red Bull Racing car even harder than I anticipated... China or Monaco, for example...

Still, this particular track feels like it belongs to them... right from that very first turn, and then immediately into turn two... It reminds me a bit of Barcelona, though the corner after the first one there was an outside turn, whereas this one is an inside turn. That said, the traction here is going to be the deciding factor.

Then there’s turn 10, where traction is absolutely everything. I’d love to get my hands on some telemetry comparisons—specifically looking at the exit speeds. I have a feeling if we compared how Ferrari handles that corner versus how Red Bull does, Red Bull would absolutely smoke them😁.

But hey, those are just the fine details☕... or maybe they aren't...

Let’s just enjoy the thrill of all these high-stakes overtakes while they last, folks. Once the checkered flag drops, we can finally take a moment to thank Bernie for delivering such an incredibly engaging season.

What are your thoughts on the track layout? Personally, I’m leaning towards this being one of the better Tilke-style designs out there. My only real concern is whether DRS might actually mask the true nature of the circuit—I have a nagging feeling that overtaking could become way too easy, much like what we’ve seen at almost every single race this season already.
Quick question for you all: if a driver gets overtaken in the first DRS zone, but stays within a second of the car ahead, will they be able to attempt a pass in the second DRS zone?
If my memory serves me right, the software hasn't been updated to allow that yet, so it shouldn't be possible.

I'm just praying everyone's DRS breaks so we can finally get a decent, normal race for once☕

I’m just ready for next season already. This whole end-of-year stretch is nothing but beating a dead horse. 😬

Honestly, I have zero clue what to expect. The cards get shuffled so much during the race that I’ve got no idea about anything, other than the fact that Vettel will probably be right up there at the top. And man, I just hope the Indian Grand Prix isn't a total disaster of a track like... uhm, well, you know, those ones we don't talk about 😁, but they're still somehow stuck on the calendar for the next, what, 67 years? 🙂

Oh, and thank god—no more waking up at 7 AM for the rest of the season. 👋
