I can't believe I'm even bringing this up again, but someone had to say it! Does anyone else feel like we're just circling the drain with these recent developments? It feels like every time we think we've reached a consensus, something shifts under our feet. Is it just me, or is the whole landscape changing faster than we can keep up with? I mean, honestly, how are we supposed to stay grounded when the goalposts keep moving? It’s exhausting, really. But hey, that’s life, I suppose, isn't it? Just one question after another. kaže:
Is it just me, or was that "revolutionary" Ferrari they were touting back in 2012 actually built out of cardboard? I mean, really, how does a car like that even hold together under pressure? It makes you wonder if they were even trying, or if they were just hoping for the best. What do you all think? Was it pure engineering madness, or just a total farce?🤷🤣
Well, they’re definitely going to have to pass a rigorous crash test on that one. And honestly, I can't help but feel like Mark Webber is just cursed? It seems like no matter what happens, something always goes sideways for him. Is it just bad luck, or is there something else at play here?

So, is it actually going to be Mark Webber and Lewis Hamilton on the same starting grid tomorrow?! Talk about poetic justice.
And you've got two Red Bull Racing cars sitting right ahead of Fernando Alonso. 🙂
How much distance are we looking at before that first turn?

I don't get it. Why were we running on the softest compounds last race, and now suddenly it's the hardest? You think they're just playing favorites for Ferrari? 😁

How long is the run to the first turn?
Keep in mind, Mark Webber has been struggling terribly with his starts this season.
Though, some of those "bad" starts seemed a little suspicious, didn't they?
Sebastian Vettel takes pole, Mark Webber is P2, and then just seconds before the lights go out, the race engineer tells Mark Webber to adjust his clutch bite. Naturally, Vettel bolts, while Mark Webber's start is a disaster, leaving him stuck in the pack. 😁
Still, it doesn't hurt to hope.🙂

With two Red Bull Racing cars sitting right in front of Alonso. 🙂
How long until they hit that first turn?
Really hoping Alonso gets a clean launch and that Vettel doesn't just vanish after the first couple turns.
Though, there's a chance Webber nails his start while Vettel "naps" at the lights, leaving Alonso stuck in traffic.🤔

What is CNN even rambling about? They’re actually suggesting Jenson Button could get penalized for his lap times under yellow flags. Seriously? Just because of that Mass mess.
As if that wasn't enough.🙂
The start has absolutely nothing to do with qualifying.🤣
So, here's what we've got so far:
Hamilton finished P3. Not bad.
Perez takes 3rd.
Vitaly Petrov - 5th place.
Ricciardo finished 5th.
Anything else?🤷

It’s pretty much a given that Alonso will pull himself into second place right after the opening lap, but honestly, what on earth is going to happen with that rowdy bunch trailing behind him? Between Mark Webber, Felipe Massa, and Hamdiya, things are bound to get so chaotic that someone's going to end up leaving their front wing abandoned on a flat stretch of highway somewhere!

Vettel on pole, Webber in second. Just seconds before the lights go out, the race engineer tells Webber to adjust his clutch bite point. What happens? Vettel rockets off, while Webber struggles with a terrible start and ends up stuck at the back of the pack. 😁
But it isn't wrong to hope.🙂
Douglas Parker61 said:I’m hoping Alonso gets a clean start. And hopefully, Vettel doesn't just disappear into the distance after the first two turns?
It’s possible that Webber gets a clean launch here, while Vettel might be a bit slow off the line—potentially leaving him stuck behind Alonso?🤔
And yeah, maybe this time they should tell Sebastian Vettel to finally "dial it in." Clutch bite?". 🤣
Drew Bennett68 said:Who knows if Fernando Alonso will manage to break into second place right after the first turn? And what on earth is going to happen with that lively group trailing him—Mark Webber, Felipe Massa, and Hamdi? And someone's actually going to leave a front wing sitting out on a flat plain?
Absolutely! 👋👋👋🙂
Especially since even a minor excursion off the track results in a total spin-out. And who knows? Someone might just be right in the middle of the racing line. 🙂

At that specific moment, Jenson Button wasn't allowed to set his best sector time because of those yellow flags—if I remember the rules correctly. If he actually did that, then the penalty is justified.
Vettel is in the clear here. I don't see him having a sluggish start, so he shouldn't be an issue for Fernando. Seb is a pretty decent starter...
Lewis is also in the clear...

Though, there's a chance Mark Webber has a great start while Vettel "naps" at the lights, which might leave Alonso stuck behind him.🤔

Drew Bennett68 said:I’m calling it now: Alonso is going to snatch second place right after the first turn. As for that pack trailing him—Webber, Massa, and Hamdi—things are about to get messy. Someone’s definitely leaving a front wing out on the asphalt.
Imagine this scenario:
Alonso jumps past Mark Webber right at the start, leaving Hemoš and Felipe Massa stuck in his wake. They hit the straight, and Massa tries to dive down inside Hemoš. As they reach the end of the straight, Massa brakes a bit too late, but since he's caught on the dirty part of the track, he can't slow down in time and ends up collecting Lewis Hamilton. Lewis actually braked even later than that, just to make sure he didn't accidentally hand the position back to Massa. 😍And those two will take down Mark Webber together.😁

You clearly aren't the type to fall for conspiracy theories.☕ 😂

Keith Rodriguez27 said:His suspension is going to give out right on the edge of the track. 😲 😲
Honestly, I was out on the "edge" yesterday myself and ended up losing a tire, a rim, and my suspension took a massive hit too. 🙄 🙄 🙄
And to top it all off, my registration expires tomorrow. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Drew Bennett68 said:Don't forget to set your clocks back!😲
It’s really not that big of a deal; worst-case scenario, you just wake up an hour before the race starts. 😉

Michael Lee4 said:So, I spend my entire week grinding away at work... honestly, Saturday is the only day left to actually live. 🤷
And all the other days? It’s like you aren't even living at all. Who can really blame you, though, when you’re so addicted to that constant high? 🙂
