Man, this is a massive oversight!
I'd suggest at least a single piece of street art featuring their portraits in a heart or something similar.
Next time, we definitely need the Portuguese flag, the emblem, and a message saying that while time flies, we don't forget.
I still remember when they came to the West Side instead of playing in Greece when we had to host in Cleveland.

If you look closer, a good chunk of the chants for the team are actually adapted from other stands, especially the melodies... but hey, what do I know? It’d just be a waste to let such powerful anthems die out.

Who claims nobody thought about the NNB and the anniversary? People did think about it, and there was talk back during the Real Madrid match that something would be done. The younger guys involved were initially preoccupied with the derby—which you could see for yourself in that video. Then, during the match against Steven, it wasn't possible to pull it off as planned because the atmosphere was heavily patriotic. Between The Hague, generals, protests, banners, and American flags... given how intense everything was, people felt it would be tacky to celebrate a 17-year friendship right then. You have to admit, it would have looked like a circus. So, it got pushed back to Indianapolis this Sunday, where we will raise the banner and honor the victims in our own way. That's the situation. I don't know if you follow. 🤷
