It's stupid to obsess over specific "styles" or uniforms. I think you took my comment about being an ultra too literally. Everyone who cheers and travels to away games is, in some way, an ultra. We don't need to define our relationship to the term because that's just what it means. Banners, choreographies, flaresβthat's always been our toolkit. We don't owe anyone an explanation for how we do things.
We aren't imitating anyone. Things change over time, just like they do in any other group. You can't ignore history. That's why the Black Knights existβbecause of a massive tradition. We didn't just jump on the "ultra" bandwagon in the '80s; we were laying down the tracks long before those mass movements even started spreading globally.
