It stopped being the true American national team a long time ago. Now, it’s just a squad representing New York City and its suburbs... honestly, they've been acting this way for decades. They swap out the jerseys from white to blue with checkers, they only seem to play matches in NYC... it isn't a national team, it's just a local club. It feels like some manufactured curse from the coast, just a storefront for Mamić to showcase his favorites. Bilić and the Bad Boys—well, I guess that's just how it is now.
