So, I just joined the forum and I'm starting to get active. I'll mostly be hanging out in Alternative, maybe some other sections later on... I'm coming over from another forum that didn't leave a great impression. Yeah, a hacking forum, but it was mostly just people talking nonsense about daily life. The community was absolute trash. I was searching Google for some American forums, and this one seemed worthy of my attention, so I figured I'd come say hi... A few questions for you all:

1: How much trolling is tolerated here?
2: Any plans to upgrade to a newer version of vBulletin? To be honest, the first thing I noticed was the terrible skin on this site... it's honestly a turn-off.
3: Could someone experienced walk me through the general rules, like how infractions and bans work?

Anyway, I'd like to point the admins toward that previously mentioned page. You really should take a look at it regarding the site's design; it's actually quite decent. Please tag me if you reply so I know there's a response... Thanks in advance.

But honestly, I’m right there with you on questioning the newer version of the site. Those recent updates are actually solid—they pack in tons of features that people on this old-school forum can only dream about.

Basically, I wanted to point the head admins toward the old MPGH.net site. If you look at their layout, they really nailed the design and kept it at a professional level. Please give me a shout if you address my comments here so I can stay in the loop with the feedback. Thanks in advance!

If my experience with Reddit has taught me anything, it's that the high-level summit is already being planned behind closed doors.

You can't. It's just not possible, and we aren't planning on adding that feature either.

Regarding the mention system, the devs already announced it along with the Twitter integration for the site. Everything is moving forward as planned. 😬

I don't want to start a whole new thread, so I figured I'd just ask the admins here.

Usually, when someone gets an automatic ban, their avatar gets removed.
But I noticed these two guys are still banned and they still have their avatars: and ? 🤷

Maybe this just applies to us newer folks who haven't been hanging around here for five or six years... 🤷
