Honestly, Gina Carano was decent enough in the movie, but let's be real—the film itself could have been way better. She definitely knows how to hold her own in a fight, but she really should have taken some acting classes first.😁

I couldn't help but feel like her potential wasn't even half-utilized here, and I'm not just talking about her acting skills! Personally, I would have much rather seen her in some high-octane, adrenaline-fueled Michael Bay action flick where things are exploding in your face every five minutes and someone's getting a massive haymaker to the jaw at every turn, instead of sitting through this tedious, dry pile of garbage! And all that given such an incredible cast of actors? Good grief!

I didn't even realize he was training in UFC and Muay Thai. Honestly, that exchange caught my eye—neither of them would have backed down from each other if I'm being real. As for the movie? Total waste of time. Banderas and Douglas barely had ten lines of dialogue between them. They were completely useless to the plot.

I can't believe this nonsense. Every time I turn around, there's more drama involving Gina Carano. It’s exhausting just reading about it. Honestly, I've seen enough to last a lifetime.

Does anyone have a reliable torrent link for this movie? Every one I come across keeps throwing an error...

First off, huge shoutout to Dennis Brown20 for pointing me toward this flick. Seriously, thank you, because this is exactly the kind of thing I’ve been hunting for.

WARNING: Spoilers ahead.

Secondly, I am absolutely obsessed with this woman, though I really hope she actually learns how to act—or at least drops that weird half-smile she wears in every single scene, which combined with her calm voice, makes her sound like some preschool teacher who just finished nursing a little angel.

That scene where she absolutely wrecks Fassbender was incredibly well done, IMO. They ditched that atrocious music and the scene itself is killer; the choreography is solid, and contrary to what everyone else was whining about, the steady camera work actually worked for me—it didn't try too hard with shaky movements, so it felt legit and real.

All the fight scenes are great; the woman looks convincing (as far as anything can in a movie), she clearly knows how to throw hands (not even worth mentioning), and I am just totally floored by it.

Unfortunately, the movie is plagued by the worst soundtrack since... I can't even remember, but it's so bad it feels like they ran out of budget halfway through. The music is a total disaster—some kind of post-rock minimalism or whatever—and it just does not belong in this movie, regardless of what they were aiming for.

I wasn't feeling that ambush on the beach at all; considering the whole movie tries to maintain this sense of realism, that part felt super forced, like, how did she even track him down there?

The first thirty minutes are way weaker than the rest of the film, starting from when she picks up the kid in the car and moving through those awful scenes in Los Angeles, where the director decided to turn the action into a series of random vignettes backed by some xylophone nonsense.

I think the main reason people aren't vibing with this movie is that it was trying to be a serious drama rather than just a standard action flick, but the lead character is so shallow that nobody can actually connect with her. Even if the dialogue had been better, there just weren't any moments that made us care about her or want to root for her throughout the story. Aside from the fact that she’s a powerhouse who makes me want to scream, her character just lacks depth, and I bet everyone else felt the same way.

The music and the underdeveloped lead are the biggest issues, but that doesn't mean the movie is garbage. Maybe she’d be better suited for simpler movies, because this one tried to reach beyond the typical action genre, but it had a lead character that was way too weak to carry that weight.

That's probably why it hasn't found its audience; it fails to satisfy both the serious drama crowd and the action junkies, even though it has a cool perspective and the fights are realistic and executed perfectly.

I'm honestly going back to rewatch that scene with Fassbender; I feel so bad for all those girls who watched this just for him and missed seeing their precious little pet get his ass kicked.
