So, after years upon years of relying on my Microsoft optical mouse (the intellimouse 1.1a), I am beyond frustrated to report that it finally gave up the ghost yesterday 🤷 (just like that)
I’ve seriously owned this thing for so long that I can’t even wrap my head around how many years it's been.
The massive issue here is that I cannot find a replacement anywhere, and they certainly don't just order them online—and living in Miami doesn't help matters either 🙂
Honestly, it is the single best mouse I have ever laid hands on. I’ve tried all those overpriced "gamer" mice in local LAN centers, but in my opinion, this versatile tool is absolutely peerless.
If anyone out there is dealing with a similar tragedy or knows where one might still find these "intellimouse" models, I am begging for your assistance
I haven't tried the Intellimouse Explorer 3 yet, though I hear that one is equally impossible to track down
If you happen to own a similar mouse that won't break the bank, please, I am asking for your recommendations 🙂
I primarily use it for web browsing☕, though I also enjoy playing RTS games
