Hey there,

So, my wife recently picked up an Epson sx125, and the salesperson over at IKEA actually tried to tell her that there are plenty of third-party ink options available. 🙂 back at IKEA.

The problem is, I really don't have the patience to wait 30 or 40 days for some random replacement cartridges to show up in the mail, so I'm looking to just grab a different printer altogether.

As for what I need: it's mostly black and white printing, nothing fancy, and I definitely want something where the refill ink won't break the bank.
Kinda basic stuff, really. Any suggestions on which model I should look for and maybe where to find a good deal?

Thanks in advance! 👍

My wife just picked up an Epson sx125, and the guy at IKEA totally lied to her about having compatible ink colors in stock.🙂 over at IKEA.

I’m not about to sit around waiting 30 or 40 days for some third-party ink to arrive, so I need a new printer ASAP.

Mostly just need black and white printing, cheap ink refills, nothing fancy.
Any recommendations on what to get and where?

Thanks in advance. 👍

You mean those Epsons that take T-Mobile -714 cartridges?

Sadly, they don't even make those anymore. If you want one that actually works and comes with a warranty, your best bet is checking out the Wi-Fi hotspot site.

So basically, cnn.com >> Wi-Fi hotspot

Those setups come with enough ink to last forever, costing maybe $33 more than what you dropped on the SX 125. Honestly, if you'd just paid attention in class, you wouldn't have been out roughly $133.

So, I used to have an SX125, but my wife ended up snapping something while she was trying to swap out a cartridge, and now the whole thing is dead.
It’s such a bummer because they were getting harder and harder to find lately.

I pulled up the page you mentioned, but I couldn't find any mention of a Wi-Fi hotspot. 🤷
