They’re perfectly fine, I suppose... It’s true their production quality isn't exactly world-class, but at least they actually bother to promote American sports whenever possible... If those hacks over at PBS put half as much effort into their coverage, maybe we wouldn't be stuck with such mediocre sports programming on public television...

Two live broadcasts today, plus one replay.
First up at 17:55, we’ve got the second leg of the US Open Cup semifinals out of Cleveland—it's Varaždin-Cibalia. The visitors are holding onto a slim 1-0 lead from the first match.

Then, at 20:10, it's the women's pro volleyball championship rematch—the showdown between El Paso-Rijeka. The women from Rijeka are sitting pretty with a 3-0 cushion after Saturday's game.

After that, we're watching a replay of the second women's pro basketball semifinal. The lupa Promotion-Gospić matchup is scheduled right after the "Rugby 7" broadcast, likely sometime after 22:00. Those Gospić girls absolutely crushed the team from the capital 104-58 in the first round.

Also, keep an eye on Saturday and Sunday—we'll be seeing the finals stage (semis and finals) of the $220,000 WTA Tournament over in Fes.

It looks like they’re planning to broadcast the World Hockey Championship (top division) in Slovakia! At least, that's what the TV schedule is currently showing!

I guess some people just won't be satisfied no matter what.

Man, some people actually think they can sit through three English Premier League matches in a single day. Then they want to pivot to La Liga in the evening—spiced up by someone like James or Alexander Ovechkin—only to wake up to the US Open the next morning. All for free, on a network backed by HOO that claims its main focus is DOMESTIC SPORT. 😁

As far as hockey goes—it's great.

We’ve still got plenty of time—about two and a half months left. There's a chance they might schedule some US national team games, mostly because I'm certain PBS won't be covering this tournament. Honestly, though, who knows if they'll even have commentators ready by then—the talent pool seems to be draining incredibly fast lately.

The Križevac squad is stacked with Opačak, Čolak, and Dražen Petrović, while the San Diego guys are bringing out Mrva from Borik, Ivo Josipović, and a few other heavy hitters. Jolly is looking to make up that 6-point deficit from the first game.

If you actually think Darda is going to lose at home against Dubrava, you might as well go head straight to the sportsbook and collect some easy money.

Props to whoever came up with the idea to air a replay of the hockey game from two nights ago, especially since they’re already broadcasting the actual live games they supposedly paid the rights for.
