If you’re talking about that thread you started over on the forum—the one that’s already been locked—your only move is to ask a moderator to wipe it. You can't do it yourself.
As for the username, there's a master thread Changing your handle at the top of this PDF, but you don't actually meet the requirements to change it right now.

You can just leave this thread (since it's already locked) as it is. The mods will probably move it over to another section later on, unless you decide to go hunting through other pages yourself.
By the way, I’m pretty sure you can't actually delete your own threads—you can only get rid of individual posts.
As for your username, you can only change it if it's for some aesthetic tweak, like fixing capitalization, adding a symbol, or messing with spaces. If you're looking to switch to a completely different name, that's a no-go.

Just set up a new profile using whatever handle you want and that should be about it, though I guess you'll still be stuck with a limit of four posts anyway.

I’m honestly not quite sure how to get in touch with the site administrators directly... but I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out with a quick request. I know I should probably be asking one of you all-powerful moderators to step in, but would it be possible to have one of my threads removed? Specifically, I’d really appreciate it if you could delete my post titled "What should I do?!"

Is there a way to edit or delete my own posts?
As long as you're registered and signed in, editing and deleting should be an option—unless the site admin decided to disable it. Keep in mind, though, that your window to make changes might be limited depending on how the forum settings are configured.
To change or remove a post, just look for the Edit / Delete Message button located right by the specific message. One heads-up: if you're the one who started the thread, deleting your very first post might end up wiping out the whole discussion.
After you save your changes, a small notification might pop up to let everyone else know the post has been modified.
If the timestamp for the edit shows up as a clickable link, you can use it to compare the new version with the original, or even track multiple revisions if you've updated it more than once.

If it’s been more than 90 minutes since you hit post, you're out of luck—no editing or deleting allowed.
