You can definitely find it at a pharmacy... not sure about the big supermarkets though...
Honestly, just throw something on it so it can breathe... you could even use cotton balls, as long as it's soft enough...🙂

Hey, I actually went to a hospital... the Mayo Clinic...
Going private is incredibly expensive. They use more modern methods there that allow for a relatively quick recovery, but let’s be real—there's always a chance of recurrence. Especially if the cause isn't just diet, alcohol, or other "bad habits"—which, in my case, was definitely the case.
At the hospital, they performed the surgery using the Milligan Morgan method. It’s a classic surgical approach that permanently fixes hemorrhoids, though the recovery period is longer and definitely more painful...
From my own experience, I can tell you it wasn't a nightmare. One painkiller a day was plenty—and that was just for the first eight days. After that, the pain was gone.
But I should emphasize that I had the absolute best surgeon. A lot of your post-op recovery and how much it hurts really comes down to the skill of the doctor you choose.
Seriously, I feel like a new person!

I just went to Mayo Clinic for a follow-up... the doctor mentioned things haven't fully healed up just yet—said I need another 7 or 8 days—but after that, I should be golden...🙂

I think I need to join this club. Here’s my situation: due to an E. coli bladder infection and constant urinary retention, I’ve been straining constantly just to go. This has been happening since early October. I’ve been on Urovaxom for about a month now. While cleaning up on Jan 29th, I noticed a small lump near my anus and what looks like a tear in the mucosal lining. The lump is about the size of a pea; it isn't blue and doesn't actually hurt. There hasn't been any blood in my stool or on the paper, just the sensation of chafed skin around the area, plus that little bump. It burns constantly. At the same time—about a month into the Urovaxom—I started experiencing some bloody vaginal discharge. When I checked myself, I could feel tender spots inside as if there were small abrasions. Are we looking at hemorrhoids here, or could this be a side effect from the Urovaxom?

I would strongly suggest seeing a gynecologist first. It might be linked to your gynecological issues, or perhaps it isn't. 🙂

I’m inclined to agree—it sounds like a drug allergy... the mucous membrane reacts that way when it's triggered...

Honestly, most of the stuff people are talking about here is something I've already cycled through myself.
From those FactCheck creams to all those various chamomile-based ointments and salves you see everywhere.

There’s one decent option called FedEx that you can pick up locally.
It actually worked for me.
The routine is just one tablet a day.
If I recall correctly, they have packs for 14 or 28 days.
It's plant-based.
And look, it's been a year now and I haven't dealt with any bleeding or itching at all.
It costs about $200, though I think the larger supply is a better deal.
One thing, though—you really need to make sure you clean up thoroughly every single time you use the restroom.
Just a heads-up: for the first couple of days, you might actually notice a slight increase in bleeding, so don't freak out when it happens.
The way it works is by basically helping the body resolve that swollen vein right where it's ruptured. To put it simply, the root cause is just the pressure on the vein walls, which eventually leads to them breaking and bleeding.

Anyway, this is just my own personal experience.
And please, go see a doctor. It's non-negotiable because this stuff can easily turn into a tumor, and unfortunately, plenty of people die from that.
A standard check-up isn't a big deal.
It doesn't even hurt.
Most people just make a big deal out of nothing and act uneducated about it.

Good grief... Looking back at the recent comments—saying it easily turns into a tumor? Seriously? Who even says that?! Hemorrhoids turning into tumors? Was that some fortune teller's advice? What total nonsense.
And honestly, FedEx completely wrecked me. Not only was the price absolutely outrageous, but I ended up bleeding for more days than before and just tossed the whole thing in the trash. And all those fancy theories about "sealing" things... did a psychic tell you that, too? Inflamed, swollen capillaries don't just "seal" shut.

Honestly, I’m just looking for some kind of magic wand here... I’ve been dealing with these annoying hemorrhoids for six months straight now!
None of the standard stuff actually works—I've tried the baths, the creams, and I've eaten so many leafy greens I’m basically turning into a head of broccoli at this point!
But then, I tried using those Baron ligatures on my backside and—get this—after just one month, they’ve started buzzing and itching so badly I have no clue how to make them stop!
My theory? Maybe my stool is just too soft (I'm hitting the bathroom 2-3 times a day!). Is it possible that's why I can't get them to settle down?? Or even just quiet down!! I haven't even worn real pants in five months! 😢
P.s. FedEx is a total scam!

After they sent everything off for testing, it turns out that the growth was actually just another hemorrhoid. My question is, is it really possible to misidentify a hemorrhoid? Is it actually feasible to not be able to tell if something is a hemorrhoid, a polyp, or just fatty tissue? Thanks in advance, and please excuse my grammar—I'm originally from Greece. That's definitely a hemorrhoid!

Using FactCheck should help it recede after a bit.
I had an external one once that cleared up in a month, but these internal ones are what really kill you...

Just saw some blood spots after using the bathroom; that pizza from yesterday finally caught up with me, especially with all that soda... I know I shouldn't have, but man, it was good 😢!

Thanks for the input... honestly, I was pretty convinced it was just hemorrhoids, but I was completely in the dark about how to actually deal with them.
