After reading through everyone's posts, I felt compelled to jump in and offer a little bit of advice! A close friend of mine struggled with hemorrhoids for years, dealing with all the discomfort that comes along with them, until she stumbled upon an herbalist named Sadikovic. She decided to give it a shot, visited his office, and spent about fifteen days drinking a specific tea—though if I recall correctly, the full course was supposed to take a month. To her absolute amazement, the hemorrhoids vanished entirely!! She actually finished the regimen a bit early, and honestly, she hasn't had a single issue since.
It would be wonderful if anyone else here has had similar experiences they could share, because it seems like most over-the-counter creams barely do anything, yet surgery is definitely something we'd all prefer to avoid. Best wishes and good luck to you all! :-)

First off, that sounds like quackery. Hemorrhoids don't just magically disappear on their own, though it's true you don't always need to rush into surgery. While nearly 80% of Americans deal with hemorrhoid issues, milder cases don't necessarily require an operation, and certain specific medical methods are what truly provide permanent relief. As for this Dr. Sadikovic, he was technically a doctor, but he drifted into unlicensed medicine, selling pills that claimed to cure just about everything. Pay close attention to the word WAS. He actually passed away five years ago, so just keep that in mind when questioning what you heard. I personally doubt your claims, and from what I know, his "remedies" didn't actually help people. It's worth noting because, in the eyes of serious medical professionals, quackery has no place in science. When someone tries to "treat" conditions with unverified folk medicine, they often end up with much worse complications. It's not worth the risk. There are plenty of surgeons out there who can fix this properly and permanently...

Is this my responsibility? A friend of mine—someone in my extended family—tried dealing with various health issues through that total charlatan. It didn't help anyone. To be fair, it didn't necessarily make things worse either, but it certainly wasn't a cure. As far as hemorrhoids go, I’m probably the biggest expert on this forum (unfortunately 😢), but thankfully, I've moved past them. I know for a fact that you can't actually cure them with conservative methods; you just manage the symptoms. They always stick by you like shadows. Unless, of course, the patient eventually decides to go the DG HAL RAR route...☕

I mean, this is 100% spot on. All those "miracle" claims about herbs or creams making everything vanish? It's total nonsense. We really need to call that out more often—just so people don't waste their hard-earned money only to end up disappointed and hurt. And let's skip the sugarcoating. Even the hyped-up stuff is questionable; personally, Pilex doesn't seem much better than bronch to me...

As for Dr. Sadikovic, he was technically a doctor, but he leaned heavily into quackery by peddling pills that claimed to cure absolutely everything under the sun. And please, pay close attention to that word WAS. He actually passed away five years ago, so I have to say I’m pretty skeptical about what you're claiming or what you might have heard. When someone starts chasing fake cures, they usually just end up facing much nastier complications, so it's really not worth the risk. Honestly, there are plenty of skilled surgeons out there who can handle this perfectly and permanently...

I found this comment so incredibly cliché that I almost couldn't bring myself to reply! It is true that there are all sorts of "doctors" out there looking to turn a profit by withholding treatment, but if we all thought this way, medicine would still be stuck in the Dark Ages believing bloodletting was the ultimate cure. If certain herbal remedies can actually offer relief, we shouldn't act like inquisitors and dismiss them immediately with such narrow-mindedness. I am simply presenting the FACTS. Now, to be clear, I haven't personally examined my friend, but I trust her word on this. What will you say, colleague, if twenty years from now chemotherapy is viewed as being just as barbaric as bloodletting once was? Happy New Year! :-)

On a side note, while Dr. Sadikovic's father has passed away, his son followed right in those footsteps and became a doctor himself! He's actively practicing now, and he actually inherited this incredible, deep wealth of knowledge regarding trauma treatment from his father—and if I recall correctly, even from his grandfather. It’s quite a legacy! If you take a moment to Google him, everything will become much clearer.

What you call science is actually quasi-science—it's closer to Alchemy. Every scientific result and study shows there is no cure for hemorrhoids without surgical intervention. Go ahead, Google the different types of procedures yourself; people have even shared their own experiences right here in this thread. Generally speaking, when varicose veins escalate, surgery is the mandatory route. Have you ever actually seen someone resolve varicose veins just by applying herbs or herbal preparations? No. Your response is so stereotypical that I struggled to find the motivation to even answer you.🙂 And what I write, I write based on what I am certain of and what, unfortunately, I have experienced myself. I want to help people, not baby them or give them false hope. I simply relay the stories of doctors and scientists. Nothing more, nothing less. As for chemo, I won't engage with that; you've wandered off-topic here, though you missed the mark there as well. To health...☕🙂

I’ll say it again: nobody in my family, or even anyone else I know, has ever seen any benefit from that charlatan. Just so we're clear. Alchemy stands no chance when faced with actual science, and trying to mix them just makes things more complicated.☕

I’ve been perfecting a herbal remedy for hemorrhoid relief for decades now. After jumping through every single regulatory hoop for over a year, I finally managed to get the formula registered for sale within the European Union. So, either bring actual arguments to the table or stop posting those mindless comments claiming alternative medicine lacks legal standing or efficacy compared to mainstream medicine.

Look, I just don't buy it. There’s a woman in my hometown who claims she makes successful hemorrhoid remedies. I know a guy who went to her after his hemorrhoids flared right back up following standard surgery. He takes her stuff constantly to help regulate his bowel movements; it provides a little relief, sure, but the problem keeps coming back worse every single time. Whenever he feels an issue brewing, he goes running for that tonic, but it’s useless. They always return. I actually spoke to this woman over the phone once. She told him she needed to meet me "in person" to get a sense of my vibe—who I am, what my personality is like—so she could tailor the concoction specifically to my individuality. She was being so theatrical about it that I couldn't help but laugh after we hung up.😂That’s the reality of these "miracle" herbs. You might manage to regulate a bowel movement or give someone temporary relief, but you CANNOT cure hemorrhoids that way. That's my two cents on our exchange...

Look, if you guys want to have some deep debate about herbs, plants, and all that organic stuff, go ahead and move it over to the Alternative PDF. We’re keeping this space strictly for things doctors actually prescribe and what you can find on pharmacy shelves.

For anyone currently struggling with hemorrhoids, I can personally vouch for Lidoproct. It really does the trick, and even after my surgery, I kept using it based on my surgeon's recommendation.
EDIT: One thing worth noting is that when you apply it, it isn't nearly as greasy as other brands. It won't ruin your clothes or pants, which is a huge plus when you're heading out for work or just walking around town...

Does anyone know if disc protrusions at the L3-L4, L4-L5, and L5-S1 levels can actually trigger hemorrhoid issues?

I honestly doubt there's any connection between spinal issues and the swelling of hemorrhoids or blood flow in those veins...🤷

Karen Thompson10 said:That sounds like a textbook anal fissure to me! They usually come with high fevers and intense pain. Plus, you mentioned a little cut. Honestly, meds aren't going to fix this—it needs actual treatment. If you ignore fissures, they just spread, which is why they're dangerous; they can turn into way worse stuff, like a fistula. Just Google it. You said you saw a doctor, but did you see a proctologist? If nobody actually examined you properly, they're basically just guessing. Go see a specialist.

And yeah, a fissure almost always comes with what people call a "sentinel hemorrhoid" right nearby, so everyone assumes the pain is coming from hemorrhoids. Sometimes that little cut is super hard to spot, which is exactly why you need doctors.

I wrote a bit about the issues I dealt with back in May last year. A similar thing flared up again over Christmas, so after the holidays, I went to see a specialist...
My GP sent me to digestive surgery, where a surgeon performed a digital rectal exam... then sent me off to a gastroenterologist. There wasn't even a single mention of a fissure in the report!! And apparently, my situation isn't even a surgical case; instead, they're focusing on mucosal issues and inflammation, etc., etc. Not to mention, I almost died of embarrassment during the exam... So now I'm just confused. Are "proctologists" surgeons? Because right now I'm stuck in limbo. My gastroenterologist can't make sense of anything in the results either, and they're saying they'll request a follow-up with a proctologist once the inflammation goes down. And believe me, I am NOT looking forward to having to deal with this every single month. lab: WBC 16.7, CRP 80

thanks in advance

My primary care doctor sent me straight to digestive surgery. Some surgeon saw me and performed a digital rectal exam... then told me I needed to see a gastroenterologist instead. There wasn't even a single mention of a fissure in the report!! He claimed my condition isn't even surgical, just focusing on mucosal irritation and inflammatory changes, etc., etc. Not to mention I practically turned inside out during the exam itself,,,
So now I'm just confused. Are "proctologists" actually surgeons? Because right now, I'm stuck in limbo. My gastroenterologist can't find anything definitive in the results and is going to demand I follow up with a proctologist once the inflammation dies down—and believe me, I am not in the mood to be "probed" every single month." lab: WBC 16.7 CRP 80

Thanks in advance

There's nothing for a Gastroenterologist to do here. Surgeons really need to start doing their actual jobs instead of just passing everything off to internists because "it's not their problem." Good God, don't even get me started on post-op care.
Bottom line: go see a proctologist.

Last year, I dealt with an anal fissure, which I’ve mentioned a few times on here before. After about three months of absolute misery and dealing with daily bleeding—which actually left me feeling pretty anemic—the fissure seems to have healed up on its own. The only thing left hanging around is a sentinel fibroid, basically this tiny, elongated lump right at the opening. What I’m wondering is if there’s an actual cream or some kind of medication that can make this thing vanish, or am I looking at surgery to get rid of it? If I do end up needing it cut out, can I head straight back to work the next day, or am I going to need to take some sick leave? To be honest, the lump doesn't really hurt, but I’d much rather just not have it there at all.

I’m currently 27 weeks pregnant, and honestly, I’ve been dealing with some bleeding during bowel movements since before I even conceived. I also deal with these external hemorrhoids that flare up occasionally; I managed to get one to recede after two days of using Recto acute cream, but they just keep coming back every few months—sometimes more often if I'm particularly stressed out. My bowel movements are usually pretty regular and normal, so that's not the issue. But right now? I’ve been stuck in bed for three days because the pain is absolutely unbearable, and this external hemorrhoid feels like the size of Russia (okay, fine, maybe more like a walnut). I’ve tried everything under the sun: Recto acute cream, Kantarol, oak bark tea, alternating between warm and cold compresses, chamomile soaks, and this Hemopip plus cream made with mother milk and propolis, not to mention sitting in warm baths. Nothing is working. It’s still hurting, and I actually found myself crying from the agony this afternoon. Since I’m pregnant, my options are pretty limited, but I think I might try some Faktu cream next. Anyway, my mom mentioned that a proctologist she knows in Canada gave her this plastic applicator thing—you basically keep it in the fridge so it stays ice-cold, then you apply hemorrhoid cream to it, insert it into the anus, and hold it there for five minutes, three times a day. The packaging says "sapimed dilatan." I couldn't find anything about it on Natu in English, just this one site http://www.petroneonline.com/scripts....aspx?MAR=6225. Has anyone here actually used something like this? I tried it once, and let me tell you, the sensation is just horrific when you're dealing with such a massive hemorrhoid, but if it actually works, I'll grit my teeth and keep going. I just need this agony to stop!
