Monitor recommendations?

I need some serious help here!
The settings menu on my monitor—you know, where you adjust the brightness and everything else—keeps flickering on and off constantly. To make matters worse, yesterday while I was trying to shut down my PC, the whole system cut out, and the screen just went white with a message reading "AGING," which apparently means aging.
I am completely lost here. Does anyone actually have a clue what this means?

Since I don't have any clue which specific monitor you're working with here, my best advice would be to start by digging through the user manual—it’s usually the best place for those initial troubleshooting steps. Beyond that, I'd suggest doing a quick Google search for the specific issue combined with your exact monitor model number... it might just save you a lot of headache.
