It looks like I’m not the only one dealing with tachycardia. For me, it mostly kicks in right after I eat—it feels like it might even be triggered by the sparkling water I have with meals. My fitness level is pretty much non-existent right now since I was stuck in bed for a while recovering from surgery. Still, I can't quite put my finger on why this is happening. My stomach isn't giving me any trouble, no pain or anything like that... and as far as my heart goes, doctors say everything looks fine. It doesn't even happen every week.
Thanks

I’m out of shape because I was stuck in bed for a while following surgery, but I can't pin down the cause. My stomach feels fine—no issues there, no bloating or anything... Doctors say my heart is okay. It doesn't even happen every week.

You might have a hiatal hernia. Try eating smaller, more frequent meals, and make sure you take a walk or at least stay upright after eating—don't lie down. Also, cut out the stuff that causes gas and bloats your stomach.

Maybe you're just biting off more than you can chew all at once 🤷

I’m dealing with breathing issues too, and it feels constant... ever since I had my gallbladder surgery. What exactly was your procedure?
There's a real chance you're struggling to breathe because of bloating and trapped gas... just general intestinal gas buildup.
I don't get much reflux either, and if I pass gas, it's barely noticeable... I just feel constantly bloated.
On top of all that, I’m dealing with nausea, dizziness... and a whole laundry list of other symptoms. Honestly, my doctors are at a total loss on how to help me anymore.
Also, I know a hiatal hernia can cause similar stuff
(like the racing heart, shortness of breath, etc.)... if I were you, I'd get an abdominal ultrasound to check for gas buildup and go talk to a gastroenterologist.
Stick to foods that don't bloat you up, and try to stay active... just some light walking and stuff like that.

My stomach isn't even bothering me. Bloating is rare. I get some heartburn every once in a while. I stick to baby food and I don't drink anything right after a meal... So where is this coming from then? Thanks, everyone.

My stomach isn't really giving me any trouble at all. I rarely deal with bloating, except maybe right after a meal, but the heartburn is constant. I try to stick to a bland diet and I don't even drink anything while I'm eating, yet here we are. Thanks.

I am experiencing something quite similar: I am truly at a loss regarding my condition. 😢 It could be related to my stomach, or perhaps my throat or lungs... since I frequently feel a persistent need to cough, particularly after eating. Occasionally, I also experience shortness of breath, followed by a tingling sensation in my hands and stiffness in my right fingers. Since I struggle with low blood pressure, a rapid pulse is expected, but when it climbs to 130, it becomes quite alarming. I really should go in for a breath test; I have referrals for that, as well as for a throat swab and an ENT specialist, but I simply haven't made it there yet. 🙄

The weirdest part is how it only hits me during lunch, and even then, it’s totally hit or miss. I can't even find a link to a specific food because one day I'll eat the exact same thing and feel fine, and the next? Boom. My heart rate just spikes straight up to 160. It's enough to make you shiver. My heart is perfectly healthy—my doctor confirmed that—and I get those little skips when I'm actually working out, which is normal. But if this were a heart issue, it wouldn't be so selective about when it shows up. I don't get it. No numbness or anything, just this constant feeling like I'm about to pass out or stop breathing.
