Best software for cutting subjects out of backgrounds?

Hey everyone, hope I’m in the right spot for this.
So, basically, I've got this photo where I need to cut someone out—like, say if this was picture , and I'm trying to find a program to grab Homer and lift him right off the background (the office setting) because I need him totally isolated with zero background clutter 🙂 🤷😕

Try grabbing GNU. HERE is a tutorial on how to cut someone out of a photo

You could also use some other image editor—just be careful when selecting around the subject and delete whatever you don't need.

btw: here's a quick one if this works for you 😉
it could look better, but that takes more time and effort (needs some polishing)

I personally stick with GNU, and honestly, it’s top-tier. Just take a look at this result to see what I mean 👍

You could just use Photoshop for that too. 😉

I suppose you could probably get away with doing that using pretty much any photo editing software out there, I guess.
