I think I might've caught bits of it on TV, but honestly, I can't quite remember if I saw the whole thing or just some random clips...

Anyway, I definitely need to sit down and watch this one, because it sounds like it's gonna be awesome.

The Machine (2013)

It’s basically about this kid who ends up becoming buddies with a robot that the U.S. military actually developed in secret way back in the day.

So, yeah, this is an action-comedy flick starring Vin Diesel, though honestly, besides him, I don't really know much about the rest of the cast.

Man Apart (2003) - Honestly, this was such a solid watch! It’s got that gripping, nail-biting tension that keeps you hooked from the opening scene right through to the credits, and man, those action sequences? Absolutely top-tier. I feel like a total idiot for just now getting around to seeing it, especially since I've been such a huge fan of Diesel's for ages, but better late than never, right?
My rating: 5/10

Wait, so are all those Riddick movies actually connected to each other? Like, can I just jump straight into the latest one from 2013 without having seen any of the earlier stuff first?

I don't think there’s much of a connection here, especially when you look at the first movie.
It seems like everyone is in agreement that this was his absolute best performance—and honestly, I have to side with them on that one.
Especially since I spent weeks watching that film on loop while working shifts at the local AMC.😂

Honestly, I totally blanked on Pitch Black being the first one! I watched the trailers and everything, but since they came out so long ago, it completely slipped my mind that I’d actually seen them. Though, looking at my history, I did rate them on IMDb, so I guess that's proof enough that I've sat through them, haha.

I'm definitely gonna check out this third one though, because honestly, even if nothing else, it looks like a total blast.

XXX feels like it was tailor-made just for him—like he’s basically playing a version of himself because the script needed that specific energy to drive the plot forward🙂
