The whole forum needs consolidation rather than more fragmentation. Some genius thought they were being brilliant by creating thousands of subforums, but all it actually does is make it impossible to categorize topics because a single thread can easily fit into three different places at once. 🙄
It’s true that mindless newswire posts—which are basically just people reacting to headlines—don't really belong in a politics section, but adding yet another subforum is counterproductive since a trending topic is often political by nature.
Instead of splitting things up, we should be merging sections into unified subforums:
Politics, News, and Current Events - USA
Politics, News, and Current Events - World
