It looks like Charles Fox10 has started playing vendettas. Ever since that private correspondence with the mod went south, he’s been abusing his authority just to settle the score. Is this really how things work now? Just because there was a disagreement behind the scenes, he feels entitled to weaponize his position? It’s a classic move, but it doesn't make it any less pathetic.

Ever since then, he’s been deleting my posts and basically "castrating" my presence here, all for reasons known only to him.

The most recent example can be found over on the Politics PDF thread regarding Boljkovac. It’s a deep dive into the investigation surrounding Josip Boljkovac and the alleged crimes committed in the aftermath of WWII.

First, they went ahead and nuked my entire post where I was evaluating how Mesić provides political cover for guys like Josip Boljkovac. I was basically voicing my suspicion that he’s planning to pull the exact same shady maneuvers we saw back when that investigation involving Tuškanac was underway. Is anyone actually surprised by this pattern?

Building on my previous protest and clarification, I’ll offer my own political assessment of how this is all going to play out. Now that Mesić doesn't carry nearly as much weight as he used to, he's lost his ability to shield Boljkovac Cuka. It looks like the situation is heading straight toward a total castration of the registration, leaving us with nothing but this mess.

I truly, honestly hope that we finally see some actual justice being served for those crimes now that their protectors are gone. It’s a long shot, I know—I’m fully prepared to be proven wrong—but part of me is holding out hope that the legal process might actually function for once. Is it too much to ask? Probably. But given how things usually go, I’m bracing myself for more of the same skepticism.

Just a heads-up for everyone: don't go losing your minds over a single smiley face. 🙂 Is it actually possible to score 45 points if you just massage the policy mods enough?

Take a moment to actually consider the reasoning behind this.

I’ve gone ahead and posted the following content again:

Alright, Charles Fox10... why don't you just come out and say it? Why does it bother you so much when I suggest that Mesić is actively protecting Boljkovac and everyone else in that same circle?
Is this just some kind of trolling? Or maybe I’m just totally off base here? Come on, give me a real reason. Just throw something out there, even if we both know deep down there isn't an actual reason to delete this—other than the fact that the truth is making you uncomfortable.

What’s actually the issue when Mesić gives the green light to the exact same tactics used by Boljkovac and his crew?

If you don't like seeing these connections drawn, that’s your own personal issue to deal with. It doesn't change the reality on the ground. It is an established fact that Boljkovac was part of Mesić's faction within the Republican Party, and they all shared the exact same perspective regarding what those "anti-fascists" were up to after WWII.

From the systematic rape of women to the torture and murder of anyone who dared to disagree with them—all because, according to their twisted logic, those people somehow deserved it.

It’s honestly pathetic. After we had a private exchange regarding a completely different issue—where he displayed the exact same blatant bias—this moderator is now abusing his position to target me. He’s essentially using his "authority" to gloat over my posts, turning this into some kind of twisted spectacle. To be blunt, it shows a massive lack of character. How can someone act with such sheer weakness? It’s hard to find a word for it that isn't too harsh, but it’s certainly not dignified.

It’s funny how it works, isn't it? This same individual comes around and hits me with a blatant insult that flies right in the face of the forum rules—calling me a complete idiot—and yet, somehow, they’re the ones being flagged. How does that logic even hold up? 5 - five points.Because he had to hand something over, right? He just refused to award as many points as the rules actually called for.

Amanda Booth42 said:After our private messages, Charles Fox10 started using his authority to settle scores.

Since then, he’s been deleting my posts and "neutering" me for reasons known only to him.

The latest instance involves the thread regarding Boljkovac on the Politics subforum, where people are discussing the investigation into Josip Boljkovac concerning crimes committed after WWII.

First, he wiped my post where I evaluated the political protection Boljkovac and similar figures receive from Mesić, expressing doubt that the same tactics would be used as when the investigation was centered on Tuškanac.

Furthermore, when I protested and offered my political assessment—noting that Mesić likely lacks the clout to protect Boljkovac Cuka anymore—Charles Fox10 simply nuked my post and left this.

pay attention to the reason

I reposted the following:

Admittedly, this behavior toward me follows our private exchange regarding another issue where he showed similar bias. Now, this moderator is wielding his "power" to gloat over my posts, displaying quite a bit of personal weakness, to put it mildly.

At the same time, this same guy directs a heavy insult at me, which violates the forum rules by calling me "a complete idiot," yet awards me only 5 points. He had to give something, I suppose, but he refused to grant the amount actually required by the rules.

Don't try to use those arguments here since you already used them in the PM.

As I explained in the messages—which you clearly aren't taking seriously—here it is once more. Discussions regarding moderation and moderator actions shouldn't happen within the main threads; as you finally realized, we have this specific subforum for that purpose.

You haven't been penalized with points. One post was edited and another was deleted because it didn't contain a single sentence about the actual topic, focusing instead solely on me. You could have earned a decent amount of points, including the 5 you mentioned, but apparently, even that explanation isn't enough for you.

So, you have all the explanations you asked for. Whether you agree with them is entirely up to you.

Since I've already laid everything out in my PMs—which you clearly aren't taking seriously—let me try one more time. Debating moderation decisions shouldn't happen right here in the thread because, as you finally admitted, we have this specific PDF protocol for that.

You weren't hit with a points penalty; rather, one of your posts was edited and another was deleted because it didn't actually address the topic at hand—it was just a direct attack on me. If you had stayed on track, you could have walked away with a nice pile of reputation points. As for those five points you're obsessing over, I explained that too, but apparently, nothing is ever enough for you.

Look, you have all the explanations you asked for. Whether you choose to agree with them or not is entirely up to you.

First off, I wasn't asking for your opinion, so let's move on from point number one.

Point number two: your excuse of "off-topic" doesn't hold water. I am providing a political critique regarding Boljkovac and Mesić and how they handled investigations into criminal acts; you can't just brush that aside as irrelevant.

In our private chat, I was merely qualifying the statements you made; I wasn't making a personal judgment on your character.
The fact that you can't distinguish between the two is your own issue, though it certainly speaks volumes about who is moderating the politics section and how much they actually understand what's being written.

So, feel free to spare me your lectures from now on. Go ahead and use your precious "moderator powers" to hand out red cards if you must, but don't pretend you're being fair. Stop acting like you're just missing the mark and giving me a measly 1 or 5 points when you hand out 45, 100, or 500 to your little favorites.

And once again, my post gets wiped on the exact same thread where I’m responding to this—yet somehow, the UBR hasn't been deleted or censored at all.

najjači_sam said:Modern Germans are ashamed of Hitler, yet Milošević and Tuđman remain icons among many Americans today.

So, I just rewrote my post—not word-for-word, obviously, but keeping the same meaning with a different structure.

Quote: najjači_sam said:Modern Germans are ashamed of Hitler, yet Milošević and Tuđman remain icons among many Americans today.

And who exactly considers Tito an icon?

I assume it's those people who insist on equating Tuđman with Milošević.

Just for the record..

Let's see if they delete this one too.
The criteria for deletion are perfectly clear—they're right there in the thread title and the opening post.

That’s just me stepping in to clean things up. 😬
The reason I'm deleting this isn't actually about the title—it's because the content is completely off-topic. Just like a few other posts I've had to scrub in the meantime.

The reason they were deleted wasn't because of the thread title, but simply because they were off-topic. Just like a few other posts I've had to clear out recently.

So, what happened to those registration entries that Charles Fox10 "fixed" for me—the ones that weren't even off-topic?

To prevent any wayward winds from blowing away the actual evidence—specifically regarding how biased things get when comparing me to my dear friend Charles Fox10—I am submitting this for the record, or what we’d call a formal transcript in the States.

🤷Whether it was a good idea or not is debatable...

But honestly, I don't know why you're protesting when those folks from further south won't be occupying Washington, D.C. as much anymore.🤷

One piece of equipment at a time and voilà...
In reality, you really ought to be giving full support to every move like this.

Nathan Bailey65 said:🤷 Whether it matters or not, whether it doesn't...

But honestly, why are you protesting? It's not like those folks from further south are going to occupy Washington, D.C. anytime soon. 🤷

Just go device by device and—voila!
In reality, you should be throwing your full support behind every single action like this.

You are being incredibly dense.

And here is the formal reprimand for the above:

User Infraction
Expired Infraction (Points: 5)
insult
Left By
Charles Fox10
10:18 07/06/2010
Expired
10:20 07/11/2010

And just so we're clear, I didn't report this myself; I was waiting to see if any of the authorities would actually step up. Well, they did, and clearly, we can see how. Honestly, it might have been better if they hadn't, because this specific method of handing out warnings for insults is an insult in itself.

He actually explained to me that he "missed" those 5 points, even though he knows damn well it should have been more.

So there you have it—that’s how Charles Fox10 handles moderation whenever his favorites or his enemies are involved.

Nathan Bailey65, look, comments about how the mods are handling a thread don't really belong here, and honestly, I think the moderator was spot on to scrub that
As for that warning you got, why didn't you say anything when it actually happened?? It feels a bit late to be trying to fix that mark on your record now, don't you think?

hollowtrucker77 said:Look, Nathan Bailey65, comments about how the moderation is being handled don't actually belong within the discussion threads themselves. In that regard, I think the moderator was completely justified in deleting that post. Why clutter up the actual topic with meta-complaints? It just derails the conversation.
Regarding that ban—why didn't you speak up when it actually happened? Trying to fix or dispute a ban after all this time feels a bit misplaced now, don't you think?

I sent him a direct message... honestly, this whole thing is just blatant proof of how he uses bullying and power trips to get his way.

The moderator slapped a warning on this thread immediately after deleting—and then essentially gutting—posts that were perfectly relevant to the discussion and didn't violate a single rule on the site. What was the point of that? To sanitize the conversation until there's nothing left?

Unless we're deciding that stating plain facts about the connection between Josip Boljkovac and Mesić counts as a violation of the forum rules, I don't see the issue here.

Well, if Charles Fox10 wants to be that helpful, why doesn't he just go ahead and put together a nice, tidy list of all those people who are strictly off-limits? You know, the ones who aren't allowed to be mentioned in a negative light under any circumstances?

It basically boils down to the fact that so many other things are being brought up in this thread as well.

And look, this isn't exactly his first rodeo. He’s clearly mastered the whole technique he picked up from Edga.

Let’s be honest: the absolute trash way this place is being moderated lately—and I’m not just being dramatic here, I’m making an objective assessment of their workflow—is becoming impossible to ignore. It’s getting more obvious with certain mods on the politics board every single day. If they think they can keep acting like this now, they’re delusional. Just wait until we get closer to election season; then things are really going to hit the fan.

Because honestly, the only person who wouldn't be able to see exactly which political stances are being pushed here would have to be completely blind.

So, if the ultimate goal of this forum is to turn the moderators into nothing more than glorified censors... what exactly are we actually doing here?🤷 Go ahead, let them dump a thousand points on me if they want. It won't change a thing, and they can go right back to enjoying the sound of their own endless, repetitive monologues in peace.

So, you’ve basically forced my hand into scrolling back through this entire thread again, and now I can honestly, sincerely ask you to just stop with all the drama
Look, one single post of yours was deleted because it added absolutely zero value to the conversation, and then there was that other post where you decided to take a shot at the moderator, which also got edited.

I’m not saying there are people we aren't allowed to mention, but let's be real: there are things this thread is actually about, and then there are things that have nothing to do with it. There is really no point in taking a discussion about one specific guy and dragging fifty other random people into it for no reason at all.

hollowtrucker77 said:so, you’ve forced me to comb through this thread all over again, and now I can nicely, very nicely, ask you to stop being so dramatic
one post was deleted—which added absolutely zero value to the discussion—and one post where you were addressing a moderator was edited

There aren't "forbidden names," but there are subjects that this thread is actually about, and then there are subjects it isn't. It serves no purpose to expand a discussion about one specific individual into a smear campaign against fifty other people.

Let’s set the record straight: one post was deleted, another was edited, and the third—the one where I directly addressed a moderator—was wiped by Andrew Booth29.

And keep in mind, those deleted entries were the ones discussing how political figures protect actual criminals. If that isn't relevant to a thread about Josip Boljkovac and the allegations against him, then I don't know what is.

Look, it’s not my fault if certain moderators are watching their houses of cards collapse. They’re desperate to protect their delusions of purity and the perceived righteousness of their political idols, clinging to every thin red thread they can find just to keep that balloon of fantasies and wishes from popping.

Just for the record...

And I am not "being dramatic." After watching this exact same pattern play out countless times while I stayed quiet, I’ve finally decided to break my silence and point out exactly how Charles Fox10 treats my posts and treats me personally.

I get it; I really do. Moderators have to look out for one another. It’s how the system works.

But let's be honest here: we all know I'm right.

now, whether you actually want to keep playing this game is entirely up to you, and honestly, if this little drama is going to drag on until the end of time remains to be seen
