It isn't even about bad karma anymore; the reality is that he has become completely unstable and unsure of himself, or whatever you want to call it, 🤷 unlike how Fernando Alonso would have handled a start a year ago—especially back in 2005 or 2006. I mean, what on earth happened to him? 🤣 He certainly wouldn't be gambling with his prestige like this, going all-in only to end up failing miserably. And honestly, I still don't grasp why they penalized them when both drivers were clearly fighting for the position, especially since Robert Kubica ended up dropping out later anyway. 🤷 You follow me? Something is fundamentally broken with him. Hot blood is the least of his worries; he's already drowning. 😉
Nicole Reyes97 said:If you look back at his prime—especially 2005 and 2006—Fernando Alonso wouldn't have had such a mediocre start. I guess maybe he's just lost a bit of that edge? 🤣 And he definitely wouldn't have been taking those reckless risks just to overtake; he was basically driving on pure adrenaline and failing. Honestly, I don't really get why they penalized him either, since they were both clearly fighting for the spot, and besides, Robert Kubica ended up dropping out anyway🤷. You know what I mean?

Douglas Parker61 said:Honestly, who wouldn't be livid after two races like those?
I wouldn't be surprised if he shows up to the next race carrying a handgun just so he can take everyone out when they pull another stunt like that.🙂

I think I know exactly when I messed up last time... but man, this debate is getting pretty intense...
Everything is gonna be fine with Zalonso...
Don't even sweat it...
Does anyone remember what kind of penalty Hamilton got back at Spa in 2008? Was it a drive-through or did he just have to let Kimi back past him...

First, they congratulate him from the pits by saying, "You won the United States GP" instead of "We won the United States GP," and they say it with this incredibly cold tone. Honestly, Alonso would give Hamilton a warmer, more sincere congrats than those guys at Red Bull.
Naturally, Weber lost his cool and snapped back. And the response from the pit wall was even worse. Something along the lines of, "Do you think you could manage a smile?" 😲
Then, none of the bosses even bother to show up on the podium.😠
That last reply from them gave me the final answer as to why his own team can't stand him. Apparently, he isn't photogenic enough to sell their ridiculous energy drink!
I'd almost bet that Red Bull would rather see Hamilton be world champion if they can't somehow make it Vettel. Their marketing "experts" clearly couldn't handle the fact that Red Bull's first title went to Webber, simply because he looks more like a regular guy who drinks a beer (he is from Australia, after all) rather than some aggressive beast that typical consumers of their red chemical crave.
I just don't get why they extended Webber's contract if they can't stand him. Did they think he'd just settle down and wait for retirement?
cosmicridge5 said:Yeah, I was actually thinking the exact same thing right after the lights went out—I honestly can’t remember the last time Alonso had a start that actually looked decent.😁
It feels like his nerves are just completely shot at this point😳
And man, this penalty is just absolute bottom-of-the-barrel nonsense.🙄

Webber showed his true colors 🙏 That's how you squeeze a teammate and wreck your own team's chances. Bravo. 🙏 🤮
After that whole scandal, he goes and leaves him with zero space again today. Unbelievable. Just pure madness. 🙏 🤮
From here on out, I’d rather cheer for Hamilton to take the title than watch Webber 🙄
As for Zalonso and Kubik, Zalonso had nowhere to go. Where were the stewards looking?! This penalty and the way it played out is the joke of the season. 🤮 If he takes out half the officials and half the pit crews, I won't blame him one bit. ☕
Did I mention how nauseating this race has been?
🙂
Nicole Reyes97 said:I honestly can't say. I don't get the feeling that everything is quite right with him, though I suppose I'm holding out hope that things might turn around, even if I'm skeptical.. 🤔
Hamilton was slapped with a 25-second penalty right after the race 😉
hollowhawk412 said:If Red Bull loses this championship, they’re idiots. The car is a rocket ship,
they should've cruised to a few more wins...
Anyway, looking at the standings... doing the math, Zalonso could've easily been leading right now too. He dropped nearly 30 points in those last two races because of pure bad luck, and if you factor in his mistakes (like Monaco), Zalonso would be sitting at the top of the table easy.🙂

stormybadger8 said:Mark Webber is a complete jerk who honestly deserved a kick in the teeth from Red Bull already. A driver pushing his own teammate off into the grass🙄 is an idiot regardless of who it is, but when he does it to a teammate he’s already overtaken—someone he has zero realistic chance of beating anyway—then he’s just a total moron.Vettel is such a pushover; I guess he doesn't realize what a clown Webber is. Instead of letting him go or just crashing into him, he yields to the idiot at his own expense. It's just ridiculous how that team operates.
If you push your teammate, you're not sane, let alone if you shove them off the track like Webber did. As things stand, McLaren still has both drivers in P1 and P2 and they've actually extended their lead in the constructors' championship, all thanks to the absolute madness from Webber.,Vettel is stuck fighting a fool while dealing with a completely incompetent crew. They really should have had at least a 50-point cushion over MCM in both drivers' and constructors' standings by now, especially given Red Bull's potential.
