I’ll try to keep this relatively brief:

About two or three years ago—maybe even longer, back when I was still active in sports—I caught a lingering cold that I just never properly dealt with. I kept pushing through my training sessions, showing up with wet hair and sweating through my gear in the freezing winter air, and you know how that goes...

Ever since then, every single morning—and I mean every single day—I wake up with a nose completely stuffed with all that usual congestion. Honestly, I don't even bother fighting it anymore. Just talking about it is exhausting because I’m essentially breathing and speaking through my mouth at this point. I’ve seen my doctor (I was using some sort of green allergy spray), I even went in for sinus imaging... nothing. No answers, no relief.

I’ve actually resorted to trying some hard spirits mixed with sparkling water; at this stage, it feels like it might be my best alternative.

Does anyone else here deal with something similar?

To hell with all this processed junk food!

🤷 Have you ever tried that intense Cleanse
where they basically clear everything out of your system?

I’ve heard people mention that there might be something they put in your nose that helps draw out all that mucus. I haven't personally experienced it myself, but 🙂

Maybe this might actually help you out. I remember watching the Oprah Winfrey Show a long time ago, and they did a segment on this nasal irrigation kit. I distinctly recall them explaining how you fill the device with lukewarm saline, tilt your head just right, and pour it into one nostril—then the water flows through and flushes all that congestion and mucus out the other side. People were raving about it; it seemed to work wonders for them. Here’s a picture of that nasal rinse kit. You can usually pick one up at any local CVS or Walgreens. 😉Hope you feel better soon! 😁

Anonymous said:Maybe this might be of some use to you. I remember watching an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show quite a while back where they demonstrated using a Neti pot. If I recall correctly, the idea is that you fill the device with lukewarm saline solution, tilt your head slightly, and pour it into one nostril; then, as the liquid fills up your sinus cavity, the water and all that congestion flow right out through the other side. People seemed genuinely impressed by it, and many found it incredibly effective. Here is a photo of what it looks like. It’s a bit like trying to fix a structural issue in a house when you realize the foundation itself is slightly off—it’s not just about patching a crack; it’s about understanding how the whole weight of the building is distributed. When you start looking at things from that perspective, you realize that what seems like a minor, isolated problem is actually tied to the way everything else is anchored. It’s less about a quick fix and more about acknowledging the underlying support system. You can pick it up at any local pharmacy. 😉 I hope you're feeling better soon. 😁

That image... is it meant to be a conceptual mockup showing how the product should ultimately look, or should I be asking about getting that exact version of the Cleanse?

Just wanted to say thanks a million for everything along the way. 😁

Not quite—though the mechanism is basically the same... I actually spotted a poster in the waiting room at my cardiologist's office 🤔 some blue thing shaped like a horn 🤔 here, I found it

As soon as I saw the name, it clicked 😁 it's called Rhino Horn

Thanks a million! 😁

No problem at all! 😉 I just posted that picture to give you an idea of the look I'm going for. The specific brand doesn't really matter to me. 😁 You can pick this up at any local CVS or Walgreens. Honestly, I think it’ll really help you out—it's a great way to clear those sinuses using a more natural approach. 👍 So, let me get this straight: we're talking lukewarm saltwater and then just pouring it on? 😁

Heh, I’m dealing with the exact same thing. Even though I just have a slight deviation or whatever you call it, I still get exhausted just from talking. And when I eat, I have to scarf it down in one go before needing to pause 😁, but I'm used to it by now, so it feels totally normal to me

Why don't you just find a new doctor? It's pretty obvious this one isn't actually interested in fixing your problem...

Same story here. About ten years ago, my roommate and I were hanging out with some girls in our neighborhood. A few days into the whole thing, my nose completely plugged up, so I went to see a doctor. She put me on antibiotics, but when I came back a few days later with zero improvement, she sent me for a culture test to figure out exactly which bacteria we were dealing with. Turns out, I picked it up from those girls...

The right antibiotic wiped out the infection in a couple of days, but even now, I still can't breathe normally. I’ve had sinus ultrasounds, and everything looked fine on the scans. The inflammation just left permanent damage...

After looking into my symptoms, I realized there's a physical blockage preventing mucus from draining properly from my sinuses. This causes constant sinus infections, and it looks like I'll eventually need surgery to fix the structural issue...

Saltwater helps. Since it's summer, I go diving in the ocean, and my nose and sinuses get filled with saltwater, which then drains out as mucus. It only provides temporary relief, though, because the saltwater just thins the mucus so it can pass through the narrow passages easier...

Steam inhalation with chamomile tea and essential oils (like eucalyptus) helps too. I also use various gels, creams, or nasal sticks based on essential oils. None of it actually solves the core problem, at least not for me...

Just wanted to drop a quick note to let everyone here know that I finally picked up some Rhino Horn. From what I can tell so far, if I stick with it over the long haul, it might just be the thing to sort out—or at least take the edge off—those persistent nasal issues I've been dealing with lately. 👍

Best regards,

How much does it run? Is it actually available at pharmacies?

What do you think happens if you start pouring random stuff up your nose? I wouldn't touch anything other than saline solution. It’s isotonic, meaning it won't swell your membranes or cause irritation.
People try rinsing with vinegar, which is just asking for trouble. When you drench those mucosal cells in something that isn't isotonic, they react by pumping out even more mucus, and then you've just made a massive mess of things.

Honestly, paying a premium for some fancy "Neti Pot" is ridiculous. You can get the job done with any old tea kettle, or even a large syringe—which probably costs about a buck at a pharmacy. And here’s the kicker: rinsing with saline provides short-term relief, but it doesn't solve the actual issue. It treats the symptoms, not the cause. (It’s pretty ironic, really. You look for info online and run into people who will happily buy into all kinds of New Age nonsense, yet they’ll turn around and blame actual medicine for "not working.")
Also, overdoing the rinses can actually backfire. That mucus isn't there for no reason; it acts as a barrier against microorganisms. Constantly stripping that protection away isn't exactly a genius move.
Using saline once in a while is fine, but don't go overboard.
