So, I was wondering, what’s everyone's actual strategy when it comes to raising funds for the site? Because honestly, this platform is actually turning a decent little profit. I’m thinking we should probably start pooling some cash together for something more substantial—maybe fund a massive infrastructure project or throw some money toward a major shipbuilding initiative.

I guess I did sound a little spooked by those off the record rumors about changes coming to Reddit. But let's be real, freedom of speech can only go up, not down, so I'm not exactly shaking in my boots. 🙂 Besides, those hypothetical updates—which probably won't even happen—don't really have anything to do with what we're doing here. This thread is strictly about design, functionality, and the general User experience. It's about all those other (completely neglected) topics that actually deserve some discussion and actual suggestions... purely for the sake of progress.

You wouldn't believe it, but a forum running on this software basically doesn't even need much upkeep. I guess if you just get a solid server and set everything up right from the jump, it just runs smooth. Even if you actually wanted to maintain it, there isn't really anything to do.

But honestly, if you consider a pessimist just an optimist who’s actually seen some things, then based on my experience here, I've seen it all. Back when AxMi was still running things, maybe there was a chance for change. Now that they haven't touched it in forever, nothing ever changes. I guess I just don't think it's gonna happen.

There is... just take this code from Jacob Foster11, paste it into Notepad... delete the first curly bracket (and everything before it) and the very last curly bracket... essentially making it look like this:

Right-click on the page - Edit site preferences - Display tab - My style sheet (you might want to copy or remember the path of your old one just in case you mess things up and need to revert... C:\Program Files\Opera\styles\user.css)

Try messing around with the user/author mode (View - style - Manage modes), then you can easily toggle back and forth between them.
