This forum is giving me ear fatigue.

I’ve heard a few of their tracks in the past, but nothing really stuck. I'm planning on diving into the full albums soon, though—I consider myself a pretty open-minded guy who gives everyone a fair shot.
Except for junkies.

Man, Dan Snaith is just on another level. Absolute genius. Honestly, I love this guy.



He can turn anything into pure gold—even Detroit Techno.
I’d give anything to catch him playing live twice this year.

I'm totally with you there—this album is incredible, and honestly, it’s such a refreshing departure from their earlier stuff 😍
. I mean, don't get me wrong, Sun is still my absolute favorite since they have that vintage vibe going on, but hey, what can you do? 😁

Even though the concert didn't exactly stick in my mind as much as I'd hoped 🤔, I would absolutely go see them again in a heartbeat 🙂

This topic echoes a discussion started by urbannomad30 back in 2007, though I haven't come across anything quite like it from the '08 or '09 seasons.
The previous thread offered some truly stellar recommendations, so it would be wonderful if we could breathe some life into this one as well.


Gonjasufi, A Sufi and a Killer; 2010

It’s a blend of psychedelia and electronic experimentation; the vocals remain raw and unguided for much of the runtime, yet they occasionally shift into something resembling genuine blues. There are even a few tracks here with real hit potential. THIS is certainly one of those standout records.

In short, it would be delightful if you all would join in and share some fresh, intriguing albums released in 2010. Please feel free to suggest any genre, and recommend as many albums as you like. I will simply paste the ground rules from the previous thread below. :-)

Prog-rock? Honestly, I think labeling them that way is a bit unfair. It’s too restrictive. They are so much more than just one genre.
It might not hit quite like their debut, but you really need to give this one a fair shot. It takes a little while to actually "click"... but if you stay patient, it definitely pays off.🙂
