Every single time I deal with stomach nausea, my back starts acting up too—right in the exact spot directly behind my stomach. How do you even explain that connection? Right now, I’m dealing with both the nausea and the back pain simultaneously and I have no idea what to do... does one trigger the other, or am I looking at two symptoms from the same underlying issue?

It might not actually be your stomach; it could be your gallbladder. If that's the case, radiation pain can manifest through referred dermatomal pain, making it perfectly logical for you to feel it up near your shoulder blade!

You should probably get an ultrasound to check your gallbladder. It could be gallstones.

Where exactly is the gallbladder located?
I’m dealing with something pretty much identical today.
I’ve been feeling nauseous all day—just this weird sensation in my stomach—to the point where I don't even have an appetite.
I just brewed some chamomile and calendula tea; maybe that’ll do the trick.
It isn't really my stomach though—it's more this pain further back... starting about 10cm below the shoulder blade... on the left side of my lower back...
Could I have just pulled a muscle?!
Or is it from sitting too long—bad posture, maybe? Hmmm.🤷
Is anyone else dealing with this specific pain???😕

It could also be a heart attack; my grandmother had similar symptoms, where she initially thought it was just stomach issues, but after getting checked out at the hospital, they told her it was actually a minor heart attack...

I experienced those exact same symptoms when I was dealing with kidney stones.

Well, I believe I was responding to the initial post, but one should keep in mind that these issues aren't exclusive to the elderly...

Same thing happening over here
My lower back right under the shoulder blade is killing me
I’ve been thinking for a while now that maybe it isn't just a back issue
And honestly, my stomach and gallbladder have been acting up too

I had a nearly identical experience where I thought it was just some nagging back pain, but it turned out to be a kidney infection, followed by intense nausea and then vomiting about two days later...

Then came the fever and everything else, eventually leading to an E. coli infection that actually required me to be admitted to the hospital.
I’d really suggest seeing a doctor and getting blood work and a urinalysis done, just to be safe and make sure you aren't letting something serious escalate.
