We actually pulled it off 🙂

I mean, look, between the tenth and fiftieth minute, our defense was honestly incredible; we didn't give those guys from Denmark an inch without making them sweat bullets, and our offense was actually smart, composed, and incredibly efficient for once. All things considered, it was some top-tier handball—easily the best performance our team has put up in this entire tournament so far...

But man, those last ten minutes were a different story because Denmark started closing the gap fast, and we just lost our focus on the defensive end, though somehow we managed to escape with it 😉

The only thing is, by the very end, we were basically crawling across the finish line; the players were completely spent, just totally gassed out...

The goal is secured, but if we had just handled Iceland earlier, this whole thing could have been a much smoother ride. Now, it’s all about trying to dig deep, find some leftover energy, and see if we can actually fight our way toward a medal.

I really think we need to highlight one more huge reason why the squad played so well and pulled off this win:

Honestly, this might be the best performance I’ve ever seen from Buntić. He was actually playing with some real intelligence out there for once! But let’s be real, without Alilović, none of this would have even happened—it was a hell of a show overall.
