Brilliant play means nothing without results—just look at that 5th place finish at the World Championships. Sometimes you just have to build momentum.

Kudos to the players, Červar, Šol, the doctors (for basically patching everyone back together), the fans—honestly, everyone!
Everyone played their part in these wins. You can argue about Červar all you want, but he’s the one doing the job...
Same goes for the medical staff, and the fans who actually trek across the country just to cheer them on.
The coaching staff too.
And obviously, the players... they get the biggest shoutout because they're the ones out there grinding!

But at the end of the day, it’s all come together—sometimes it's incredibly focused and sharp, and other times it's a total circus or a complete meltdown. That’s our national team, and that’s exactly why we love them! They feed us with nothing but pure heart and raw emotion!
One player even suggested that journalists should stop calling them "The Hellraisers" and just call them "Cowboys," because they’re exactly who they are... independent and unique!

Look, what I was trying to say in that last post is that I am sick to death of everyone acting like Červar is some kind of god, just as much as I’m sick of people worshiping him like he did a few days ago. Honestly, I’m just over it. We didn't give those Danes an inch without making them work for every single point, and honestly, the offense was smart, efficient, and played with actual purpose. The main issue was that by the end, we were basically running on fumes. The players were completely spent—just totally exhausted out there...

The goal is secured, sure, but if we had actually handled Iceland, everything would have been a lot smoother. Now, it's all about finding the energy to regroup and seeing if we can actually pull off a medal.

Well, there's still plenty of time to recover—we've got almost a day and a half...

And nobody walked away with any serious injuries, so you can't complain about that...

Playing a 6-0 defense is brutal; it drains you like nothing else. It's hardly surprising they hit a wall at the end...

Wilbek is a great coach who has consistently shut us down at major tournaments.
To his regret—which he’s frankly admitted—there just isn't enough talent available right now to challenge the US national team.
It was almost painful watching those two kids at the World Championships and the Olympics banging their heads against Gojunov's defense.
We even messed up our wing play in that 6-0 setup because we didn't even need to cluster in the middle thanks to those two.
Honestly, they're nowhere near our level right now, and certainly not on par with Iceland.
