Happy Christmas, everyone.
So, here's the deal: I need a monitor for office work, running simulations, and graphic displays. My only real requirements are a large screen, reliability, and something easy on the eyes. I couldn't care less about gaming.
Right now, I'm looking at the Apple iPad ($833 vemil) and this Apple iPad HD($1000 vemil). Honestly, I was leaning toward the iPad, but for $67 more, I could pick up the iPad HD at AT&T, which is basically the same thing just with a built-in tuner and speakers.
Since I'm not exactly an expert, I have a few questions:
-Since I already have a solid audio setup for my computer, can I just ignore those built-in speakers so they aren't playing at the same time as my main system?
-Does it come with its own remote? Basically, can the monitor function entirely on its own so I could use it as a TV in another room?
-I heard it has a hybrid tuner—does that mean I can watch both digital and analog channels through an antenna?
