Basically, you just type whatever you want the link to say, like check this out—highlight the text, click the icon, paste the URL, and you're done. 👍

Wikipedia

And what on earth does "zalipetaš" mean?

Austin Barnes3 said:People have talked about this enough, but here's the bottom line—where on earth do you actually enter the URL? All these explanations mean nothing if it just doesn't work (specifically when I'm trying to send an email). Is all this supposed to be typed into some text editor—where exactly??

Good grief, people... 🤦

Look, this subforum exists solely for technical support for this specific website. Everything explained here applies exclusively to this site. It might happen to work somewhere else (like some other message board), but there's no guarantee. The only thing guaranteed is that it works here, on this platform.

So, let me repeat myself. This way of formatting links applies only to this site. It does not apply to, say, emails.

If you're wondering how to format links in an email, that falls under basic computer literacy. If you don't know how to do that, you shouldn't be asking here; go to the IT Help Desk subforum instead:

Found nothing. Is it actually possible to send a hyperlinked URL via email or Skype or whatever else? Thanks.

I am repeating myself: this is off-topic for this subforum, and we aren't discussing it here.

If you're interested, post your question on the IT Help Desk subforum.

You can even drop images in as links, mess with the colors, whatever. Anything you wrap between those [url] and [/url] tags will show up just like usual.

So I finally figured out how to do this last night 🙂

Now I go to make my own ticker, right? If I just drop the link, it works fine. But the second I try to rename it, the whole thing breaks and says the address can't be found 🤷

Look, I'm putting both versions in my signature so you guys can see what kind of nonsense I'm rambling about...

It seems like all the girls on here have these "disguised" tickers... why does it work for them but totally fails for me?

Actually, I saw one girl over on the suburban forums having the exact same issue where it says the address isn't found... maybe it's just a glitch with the site itself? 🤷

It’s not like it’s the end of the world or anything, but if anyone actually knows why this is happening... 😍

Just copy and paste this thing, but make sure you delete that annoying space between the URL and the equals sign so it actually works:

Wouldn't this be a bit more polished?
Code here:

So, it would end up looking like this:
