Why bother typing out brackets when there is a command designed to do the heavy lifting for you?
When you're putting together a post, just write a quick summary of what the link actually contains. Open that destination in a separate tab first, then grab the URL from the address bar.
Head back to your draft, highlight that description you just wrote (just click at the start and drag your cursor to the end), and look at the toolbar above the message box. Find the URL icon—it’s one of those options tucked away on the far right. Once you click it, a little window pops up asking for the web address. Paste your link in there, hit confirm, and voilà!
It might sound like a whole production, but honestly, it is just a matter of a few simple clicks. 🙂

When you're putting together a post, you should actually write out a description of what's behind the link. Open that destination in a second tab, grab the URL from the address bar, and then
Head back to your draft, highlight your description (just click at the start and drag to the end), and look at the toolbar above the text box. Find the URL icon—it's one of those buttons tucked away on the far right. Click it, a little window pops up asking for the web address, paste your link there, hit confirm, and voilà!
