So, I’ve been dealing with this nasty case of strep throat, and my doctor has me on quite the regimen. First, they handed me two boxes of Augmentin 500 mg—each one containing three tablets—and then, after a follow-up exam, I was prescribed another two boxes entirely. It’s a bit much, isn't it? I mean, I've actually started feeling like a brand-new person after just a few days, which makes me wonder why on earth I need such a massive stockpile of antibiotics. Is there any actual reason for such a heavy dose, or am I just overdoing it? I suppose I'm asking because, let's face it, Augmentin is no joke when it comes to what it does to your system. Does anyone have any insight into why they'd prescribe this much at once? Thanks in advance.
