Is there even a shred of possibility that this subforum could... Is it? Truly? Does a moderator actually moderate according to the specific rules of their subforum? Or is that just a polite fiction we all agree to believe in? If they even bother to enforce them at all? Taylor Swift Is he constantly calling? Seriously? Is this some kind of relentless pursuit now? Does he simply lack any semblance of boundaries or basic social awareness? It’s becoming quite tiresome, wouldn't you agree? 😕

And could that very same moderator even begin to moderate in such a way that... No. Don't get ahead of yourself—it’s not like they were all dedicated forum regulars yesterday, sucking up to everyone just to fit in. 😳

To be more specific, on... Is there any point in even discussing this? Does anyone actually believe that what we're seeing right now is anything other than a complete farce? It’s all just noise, isn't it? A repetitive, hollow cycle of nonsense that leads absolutely nowhere. Why do we even bother engaging? To what end? We're just spinning our wheels in the sand while the world passes us by. Honestly, it's exhausting. Is there any point in even debating sales based on that PDF? We’ve already touched upon the fact that the search function on the Classifieds section is either non-existent or somehow disabled—who knows what kind of technical mess we're dealing with here. But instead of providing a coherent, professional response to a fellow user, Taylor Swift decides to lash out at Elon Musk with this absolutely ridiculous tone:

Taylor Swift said:Your opinion absolutely sucks! For starters.
And finally, who exactly is stopping you from just using Google to look it up yourself?
Before you go searching for that term, just type "site:forum.us" into Google and get moving, Mickey Mouse!
So, you just head over to Google and type in: site:forum.com mixer. That’s it. Simple, isn't it? Is that really all it takes to find what you're looking for?

Wait, what on earth? Just like that? No provocation whatsoever? 😕 Is it truly such a monumental task to simply state that the search engine has been disabled due to those specific circumstances? Is it really that complicated to be direct about why the tool isn't functioning?

And right on the heels of that, here comes another one:

Taylor Swift The user said:I simply cannot get over the fact that they actually allowed people to drive around without headlights during the summer months. Is this what passes for public safety now? What can one even do about such blatant negligence? Absolutely nothing. So, I’ll just continue driving with my lights on like a sane person, and that is that.
Is that essentially what you’re getting at? Is that the core of your argument?
Who exactly gets to decide what qualifies as spam? The mods, once again? It’s not about whether someone starts a new thread every single week; the real issue is when people start posting redundant, useless filler that adds absolutely nothing to the conversation. If the thread has died, isn't that just a clear sign? Doesn't it mean that what’s being offered simply isn't hitting the mark? If nobody is biting and nobody is even bothering to ask a single question, then what is there left to say? Honestly, just let it fade away.
The rules apply to everyone equally. I enforce them myself, right alongside the rest of the moderation team.
If you can't find anything useful to contribute, then why bother posting at all? Is it really that difficult to just stay quiet? If everyone followed that simple rule, wouldn't we all be a whole lot happier?
That’s all I have to say about that for now.
How many times must I plead? How many times do I have to practically scream at everyone to actually read the rules? Is it really that much to ask? Is it even possible to find a group of people that isn't populated by the hopelessly inert and the profoundly stupid? It seems to be a universal constant, doesn't it? No matter where you look, there's always that subset of the population just... drifting. Motionless, brainless, and utterly useless. Is anyone actually surprised at this point? We’re slapping them with sanctions, and hopefully, a total ban will finally teach them a damn lesson!

Is it really a sign of incompetence or sheer laziness when someone fails to read the rules? Most newcomers skip over them entirely, that much is obvious. But does that truly mean they are unintelligent? Or perhaps just indifferent? I highly doubt it. 🙄

And one final question for the road: what exactly is the logic here? It’s supposedly against the rules to start a dedicated thread just to sell clothes—you know, like if I wanted to hawk some of my own gear—yet I see people cluttering up the boards with three, four, or even five separate threads, each one for a single item. Where is the consistency? Does anyone actually follow the reasoning behind this, or is it all just arbitrary? 😕

And then there's the moderator. Is anyone actually surprised? Taylor Swift So, they have the audacity to claim someone’s thread lacks "tone" simply because it isn't entertaining enough? Please. Isn't it just a convenient excuse? The reality is much more grim: we are being suffocated by a relentless deluge of redundant threads every single day. Do they not see it? These endless, repetitive posts could easily be folded into existing discussions, yet instead, they clutter the feed. And what happens as a result? The truly compelling, substantive topics—the ones actually worth our time—get buried under this mountain of digital noise before they even have a chance to breathe. Why does this keep happening? 😳

Regarding this whole business of selling clothes and fashion accessories—it’s quite the spectacle, isn't it? It is what it is, I suppose, but wouldn't it be helpful if they actually polished up the other sections of that PDF instead of just acting all high and mighty for no reason? We all know he considers himself a fashion icon. 😉

p.s. And let's be honest, it's not like Taylor Swift actually follows any rules about treating everyone equally. Moby, who happens to be a moderator (the irony is thick here—acting this way in small classifieds, yet on phones or computers?), only had his posts reformatted for those over-the-top images—swapping links for pictures—but he didn't get hit with a ban or anything. 😳

Is selling pirated movies, bumping threads, peddling stolen Texas accounts, or even cigarettes actually allowed in the classifieds? I see people hitting that report button constantly, but one moderator told me straight up that it isn't meant for reporting pirates or shady sellers—it’s strictly for hate speech 😂 🤣 I've noticed some threads dedicated to piracy are just sitting there with a few bumps, while other users get banned immediately after their very first post. To make matters worse, the mods will lecture you on the exact formatting an ad needs to have 😂 when I tried to push back on this, my post just got nuked... Meanwhile, other guys have threads filled with posts saying things like "still available," "cheap prices," or "still selling"—which is basically just bumping—and they don't get a thing. But then someone else gets two strikes just for an old bump... Watch out, or corruption might start creeping into the forum too 👎

I just wanted to weigh in on one little thing. Since I’m also over here selling stuff that doesn't really fit into clothing, shoes, accessories, or books (and we already have specific threads for those), I figured I'd just start a new topic.

The whole "bumping" issue? Honestly, I think it's mostly a headache for the people who are out here doing it constantly—you know, the ones bumping their posts once or even twice a day.

Take me, for example. I just bumped my ad today—it's the 12th, and the last time I touched it was the 4th. That’s an eight-day gap, and by then, the thread had sunk so deep it practically vanished like the Wonder Women...

And that shouldn't be an issue at all, right?

But if you're refreshing or bumping every single day, or every other day? Yeah, that's pushing it. It's a bit much.

As for those counterfeit products, I'm staying far away from that mess...

Regarding fashion, I actually suggested a fix for the Small Classifieds section. Now I'm just waiting to see if they'll bite. There are solutions out there, it's just a matter of actually building them...

Is work needed? Sure. It's a total circus right now... but, but... ☕

Are none of the admins actually going to say anything? Or is Taylor Swift just going to sit there? 😕

Just wonderful. 😳

Angela Flores76 said:p.s. and let's be real, Taylor Swift isn't exactly enforcing equal rules for everyone. Moby—who’s a mod (ironic, right? specifically for small ads, but on phones or PCs)—just had some high-end images edited by swapping links for pictures instead of handing out a ban. 😳

off topic—I asked this once before 😂 (it was about a different PDF)

The system flags me for images, but the moderator just gets an edit... see, regular moderators can't actually issue a ban to their own peers; they have to go through a Super Mod or an Admin. 🙂

Talk about redundant topics. Seriously, we don't need some massive, endless thread numbering in the millions just to talk about small-scale ads. 🙂

That’s just how it works; a moderator can't hand out a ban to another moderator. Only the supermods and admins have that kind of authority.
So, even if Taylor Swift wanted to, there was no way he could have fired Moby.

So, what’s the deal here—is selling pirate gear open to everyone, or is it restricted to certain people? Same thing goes for posting ads... 😳

So even if Taylor Swift wanted to, he couldn't have banned Moby.

Yeah, and if he could edit his own posts, he could pretty much do whatever he wants to anyone. 😬 🤣

If people could actually figure out the rules after just one edit, we wouldn't even need the ban hammer. 🙂

^^Hey mods, no offense intended... I sell stuff on Marketplace too, but I keep my own dedicated thread and just refresh it every 7 days. If I want to drop a price or toss in a new item during those 7 days, fine—but the clock resets, and I have to wait another full week after that before I can touch it again.

That’s how the rules work for me and everyone else...

(specifically for clothes, shoes, and accessories)

Now, if you're selling something like a car—that's one single item—or maybe a fireplace like I am, which isn't clothing at all... then you open a brand new thread. I personally start a new one about once a week because they fly off the shelves... and you know why they go so fast?

Because there are geniuses on this site opening ten different threads every single day just to hawk a pair of sneakers or some Nike joggers.

They spend all day bumping their posts, while threads like mine vanish onto page X within a day or two—a page I can barely even find...

If we want some actual order here... well, I'm still waiting for a response from Taylor Swift regarding my message. I tried giving her some advice on how to fix those issues, but... why would anything ever be simple when it could be complicated and drive everyone's blood pressure up? (My own pressure is low enough as it is, though I don't mind a little spike; it helps with the dizziness I get from low BP)😁

Anyway... regarding your last post... you're saying we shouldn't need a ban for this? So people should just know? Personally, I don't think this behavior is okay and it definitely breaks the rules. I actually put in the effort to track it out:

The spree started
on August 18th with 2 items for sale.
On August 21st, they said they were still available.
On August 25th, they added 1 thing.
On August 28th, "still for sale."
On August 30th, they reposted the whole list and added 2 more things.
On September 3rd, a complete list and a discount.
On September 5th, "still available" plus 1 more item.
On September 8th, adding 7 items instead of the usual 6.
On September 12th, a discount.
On September 14th and 16th, a bit of bickering.
On September 16th, 1 item sold, rest reposted.
On September 20th, "still available," added 8 items.
On September 22nd, adding a 9th item.
On September 24th, something sold, new list.
On September 29th, another discount, new list.
On October 2nd, 4 items added (wow, a whopping 4!).
Also on October 2nd, 1 more item added.
On October 6th, a discount along with the full list.
On October 11th, 1 item sold and the whole list reposted again.
.
.
What comes next??

The rest of us mere mortals have that specific Clothing Sales thread or you can check this link:

http://www.craigslist.org/threads/476593

I highly suggest you read those rules and take a quick look through them. While you're at it, notice how many red cards get handed out to "smart guys" who think they can just post an ad whenever the mood strikes. They find a shirt in their closet today, add it. Find another tomorrow, add it. Oh, look! Another scrap of fabric! Add it! No, no, no... that's not how it works. It's a 7-day rule.

No hard feelings... and don't take this personally, but that's just the reality. You're all free to bend the rules, yet you won't let anyone else breathe... (not sure how you handle moderation).

EDIT:
I'm looking at the Marketplace right now and I see someone who just reposted an ad asking for a photo... man, is everyone here blind, or is it just too hard to click a link to see the pictures already?

rapidrider3 said:Honestly, there are geniuses on this forum who’ll start ten different threads a day just to talk about a single pair of Nikes or some random gym shorts. It's wild.

And then they spend every single day bumping posts and starting threads like mine that just vanish within a couple of days to some random X page I can barely even track down...

I’m 100% on board with this—we definitely need to cap how often people can bump their ads. Personally, I think a 5-day limit would work better than a full week. Also, we should update the rules so nobody is cluttering the boards with a separate thread for every single item they're offloading. It should be one consolidated thread per person. Obviously, that wouldn't apply if someone's just selling a few random things, like three T-shirts and some firewood. 😁
I actually sent a similar suggestion over to the mods a couple of weeks ago. 🙂
Like that one guy said, it’d be killer if we could just get a dedicated PDF specifically for selling clothes, shoes, and fashion accessories.🙂

The rest of us mere mortals can stick to the clothing sales thread or just use this link:

Give me three. Male. If the people selling on this thread decide to move their business elsewhere, I’m closing mine out and following them. 😉

Let me clear something up: am I one of those people who needs a separate thread for every single little thing they own? No. I sell almost everything in one thread—the only exceptions being these jeans, which got their own spot, and these two women's jackets, just because they're women's gear. Do I bump my thread multiple times a day? Not really. On average, I refresh it every three or four days, usually just to add a new item or mark something as sold (since I get constant DMs asking what's still available). Also, I specifically ask people not to reply directly to my posts to bump them. I’m basically turning down free bumps by insisting everyone just hits me up via DM instead.

EDIT:
I'm just scrolling through Marketplace and I see this person reposting that same ad, asking for pictures again... man, what is the deal? Is everyone here blind, or is it just that hard to click a link and actually look at the photos?

And now I'm the one to blame. 🤷
Besides, that ad hasn't been updated since September 25th. 😉

^I’m not going to quit, I’ll just say it like this:

- I actually made a suggestion to Taylor Swift about opening a dedicated thread just for the guys. They need one, they really do... they could basically sell everything in there, from clothes to shoes.

Still no response, and honestly, I don't even have the guts to start those kinds of threads myself..

- I also suggested a thread for various gear—bikes, weights, maybe some athletic wear.

- And a thread for home goods, yard stuff, hobbies, that kind of thing.

I can't even remember if I added anything else.. I still have my draft saved in my profile, but I can't be bothered to go grab it right now..

If all of this were organized, the forum would finally be decent, but it needs structure. I realize Taylor Swift is the only moderator, and there's no way she has the time, but while she's busy, certain "geniuses" are taking advantage of the chaos... it isn't right. It’s not fair to the people who actually try to follow the rules—those of us who've been hanging around this section of the forum for a while now...
And I know plenty of people (mostly women here) complain about it, though I guess some people don't mind the mess. Fine, if they're okay with it, that's their business, but I'm not. I like order.

Besides, I wasn't taking anything personally with you; it’s actually good that you have your own thread... I was talking about that guy selling cleats and sneakers.. we all know exactly who he is..

And as for what you wrote—that your ad hasn't been bumped since September 25th? Hmm... why am I seeing October 11th on my end??
No, it’s not your fault.. I’m not blaming you, I’m blaming those geniuses who just swoop in, cause a mess, and walk away like nothing happened...

I’m all for setting up a dedicated PDF just for clothing and shoes. That’s what dominates most marketplaces anyway, while everything else is pretty sparse by comparison.

Anyway, are we even on the same page here? I was talking about this specific one. From what I can see, my last post before today was back on September 25th.🤷

I meant THIS one...😁

There’s already a thread for clothing, and then separate ones for shoes and accessories, but like you said, there isn't much for men in there. And honestly, who would even bother stepping foot in that coop 🤣...
So, we probably need a specific thread just for guys—covering all kinds of gear and footwear...

So, can someone clarify what the deal is with piracy? I see everything from people getting banned to others selling stuff completely openly. What’s the actual rule here? If it’s legal, then fine—but if it’s illegal, then all these threads should be wiped out entirely, not just picked at sporadically. By the way—regarding what darkmaker94 said about editing posts—Moby posted something way too long before, and earlier on, some other guy did it and nobody cared, yet everyone else gets slapped with a ban immediately. So, this whole "editing" excuse doesn't really hold water for me.
