Hey there. So, I took a bad hit on the ball during soccer yesterday and think I strained something near my ankle. There's some swelling on the left side, so I've been icing it and using some Deep Relief. It feels a bit better, though it still hurts whenever I put weight on that left foot. I have an Ace bandage on hand—what’s the move here? Should I stay off it entirely, immobilize it, or try some light rehab exercises? Also, I don't want to clutter the forum with a new thread, but about a month ago, I noticed some spots appearing on the left side of my neck. They're darker than my skin tone. I feel like I had them around this time last year, and they faded once summer ended. Any idea what those might be?
Sorry for the brevity; typing on my phone is already making my fingers ache. :-D

A diagnosis isn't just some wild guess; it’s what happens after a thorough, professional evaluation. There simply isn't enough information here to make a call. It doesn't look like anything serious.
As for your foot, resting is probably your best bet. If the pain persists or the swelling doesn't go down, then you should go see a doctor.

It could be a simple sprain, but there's also a chance you've torn a tendon—better to go see a doctor just to be safe.

Thanks for the input. The swelling has mostly gone down and the pain is almost non-existent now.
