My request to appeal the ban from the Formula 1 subforum

I am writing to the Reddit editorial team regarding Reddit, specifically addressing the moderator of the "Formula 1" sub-section, Sega.
I am submitting > to have my access to that specific sub-forum restored.

It has been over a year since I was barred from the "Formula 1" section.

During that period, I believe the previous moderator was also removed due to poor performance, along with other disciplinary actions—the site admins will know exactly what I mean.

A year has passed. In all that time, I’ve only received a few minor warnings, nothing that warranted a permanent ban.😢

Formula 1 is entering a new era. Why shouldn't the "Formula 1" sub-forum do the same?🙏

My timing isn't accidental; it coincides with the return of The Flying German, the Red Baron, the fastest man on the track, and the greatest driver in history, the great Michael Schumacher.

I ask that you grant me a second chance. I want to join the rest of the community in celebrating the new victories of our beloved, unrivaled seven-time world champion, the great Michael Schumacher.

As a dedicated fan and someone who deeply understands the career of the great of the greats, I would be eternally grateful.

Your last few threads on the NASCAR PDF ended in total chaos—arguments, Joe, Mami, and Rain getting banned, you getting banned from the NASCAR PDF, that massive long-standing chat topic being wiped out, and the moderator leaving, even though she was actually great😢. After all that drama and your ban, there’s basically zero trouble on the NASCAR PDF, so why go looking for it again? 🤷

Given how obsessed you are with Michael Schumacher, I’m genuinely worried this won't end well😢. Just piles of trolling, insults, and endless, pointless arguments on the NASCAR PDF with anyone brave enough to debate you regarding the Magnificent one and his stats. I really don't see the point🤷. Maybe you've chilled out and won't target anyone specifically, but your non-stop worship of MSC will definitely trigger unnecessary fights and a ton of useless bickering.

All the NASCAR forums are already starting to descend into trolling and insults over MSC. Thankfully, we haven't seen that here yet, and honestly, we don't need it.

I might be wrong, but I really think this is a bad move 🤷 at least right now, especially with rumors of Schumacher returning to the track—God help us if that happens. I just don't believe this ends well😢

If they lift his ban, I want mine lifted too—it’s only fair. I got hit with a ban, yet the people who were actually throwing insults at me? They didn't get a thing, even though I didn't even bother to fire back.

As far as I’m concerned...
I’ve been hanging out in the Formula 1 subforum pretty regularly, both before and after Pilatus got banned. If there's one thing I can say for sure, it's that the amount of pointless arguing and drama has dropped off a cliff since he was kicked out. He was basically the ringleader for most of those petty fights, constantly stirring the pot and picking issues with other users. Not to mention, he spent half his time being a total nuisance by nitpicking everyone's typos. People type fast, you know? It wasn't like they were illiterate; he just made a huge deal out of minor mistakes, which was honestly just exhausting to deal with.
Bottom line: I think the Formula 1 section actually became a much better place to hang out once he left. It would be a real shame if we lifted the ban and let everything slide right back to how messy it was a year ago. As someone who spends a lot of time browsing that subforum, my two cents is that the ban should stay in place. But hey, obviously, it's not my call to make...
