Ritalin usage/experiences?

Does anyone know if it's possible to get this in the US and what the typical cost looks like? Also, is a prescription strictly required to buy it? Since I was already diagnosed with ADHD while living in Austria, would I need to go through the entire diagnostic process again here in America?
The medication isn't too expensive if you have Medicare coverage back in Austria, but what happens if I don't have any coverage? Would I be forced to get a brand new diagnosis once I'm back in the States? 🤷

Does anyone have any insight on this topic? I’m really uncomfortable ordering my medications online—you never truly know what you're actually getting.

You aren't getting it without a prescription—honestly, I think they might even require a double script for that one.

In the States, we've got Adderall, Ritalin, and Concerta.

You aren't going to be able to pull that off—not easily, anyway—even though Medicare does have agreements with medical providers over in Austria... because, see, these drugs are classified as controlled substances. It's a whole thing. You’re going to need your local prescription plus some official verification from Medicare to make it stick.

It looks like they haven't released it here in the States yet.

Even though Medicare has certain agreements with healthcare providers abroad, you can't just pick them up like that. These are classified as controlled substances, so you'd need an American prescription and official verification from Medicare first.
