We'll just deal with it once we're on-site... those little hiccups that always pop up... if only that hole in the floor was our only headache🙄... but whatever, I guarantee once we're done, nobody will even realize what this space used to look like. =P

Quick update:

- Bathroom's all prepped for the drywall
- Windows are knocked out and bricked up
- One more round of patching done
- Starting on the ceiling
- Yard's cleared—finally finished hauling away the brush and deadwood

The game plan for tomorrow (fingers crossed):

- Painting
- Kicking off the laminate flooring installation
- Getting that bathroom window back in (assuming the masonry dries fast enough)
- Scrubbing down the baseboards, doors, and windows

The fans got together today for a little charity project—they actually set up a whole room and laid down some laminate flooring

So... feeling better about things now? 🙂

Quick update:

- finally got the laminate laid down in the big room
- wrestled that new wardrobe together
- swapped out the bathroom window

Found a volunteer tiler to help us out 🎉 🎉

- they offered us a cubic yard of sand and a few bags of cement—now we just need to find a way to haul it all (ideally a pickup with a trailer, since nothing bigger than that is getting through our driveway)

Tomorrow's plan is more furniture assembly in the finished room. Fingers crossed we can scrape together enough cash for another 8 square feet of laminate (that's what's left) so we can tackle the second bedroom next.

p.s. We’re hunting for about 5 square feet of roofing tiles or shingles to patch up the roof—it’s leaking like crazy right now. Used stuff is totally fine if you have some lying around.

Still need to grab some supplies to finish up the bathroom remodel:

- Some drywall (the moisture-resistant stuff) and all the mounting gear
- Insulation for behind the boards and inside the partition walls—guessing we'll go with some mineral wool
- All the plumbing gear—pipes, connectors, fittings, the whole nine yards

And honestly, we're a bit short on cash for the shower stall and those little extras—towel racks and whatnot
