I am reaching out to those of you who are currently navigating this same affliction, if you would be so kind as to make contact. It occurs to me that perhaps a collective exchange of perspectives regarding this condition might offer some semblance of utility or relief. For three years now, I have been wandering through this particular fog, and I find myself in desperate need of discourse with individuals who possess the capacity to truly understand my experience. Please, reach out if you are able.🙂

I’m not sure how much weight my words carry since I don’t deal with anxiety or depression personally, but I’ve got a family member who’s been going through the wringer with it for almost two years now.
I’m here if you just need to vent, or if you want some perspective based on what my family has dealt with.
Honestly, maybe you could even drop some advice for them too...
Bottom line is, I've got your back.🙂

Look, there’s no magic pill for this, unfortunately. Your best bet is just to stay busy—work, school, kids, whatever it takes to keep your head focused on something else, because honestly, staying occupied is the only real remedy. You’ve got to snap out of it as soon as possible; don't dwell on it and don't spend all your time venting to me about it, but instead try to actually build something with your life through hard work and just getting things done before the stress starts physically wrecking you. For instance, I personally end up dealing with stomach issues and kidney problems whenever I let things slide...😛 I've managed to pull myself together now, but I still have those days where everything feels incredibly heavy.

I’ve been through the exact same thing... honestly, psychotherapy was what finally pulled me through. Sure, I still have those moments where it hits me out of nowhere, but things are definitely looking up.
I’ve got a PDF of psychology topics if you want it—just let me know...

Every bout of depression stems from something—it’s rarely just random. It could be the big, heavy stuff, like constant friction with family, struggling to find your footing in school, or heartache... or it could be those tiny, seemingly insignificant things that actually weigh on you more than they should.
I’ve been through my own dark patch, so I truly get where you're coming from.

If I can offer any advice, it would be to lean into spirituality. For me, diving into the Bible—specifically the New Testament—and picking up books by charismatic authors (like Degrandis, for instance) really helped... it provided answers to all those nagging questions I couldn't stop asking myself. It also helps to get out to church and maybe shake up your social circle a bit—surrounding yourself with people from the congregation who focus on the positive and are genuinely there for others can make a world of difference.
